Why are people SO sympathetic to Wild Man Fischer? I mean, I hate to just tear people apart, but COME ON! The guy was a psychopath who attacked his family and tried to kill his mother, then made an album cover JOKING about when he tried to kill his mother! He tried to bludgeon Zappa's daughter with a glass, for God's sakes!
His mother wasn't a particularlly nice woman either by any stretch of the imagination. The album cover was more to do with Frank Zappa taking advantage of him than Fischer, he would have had very little creative imput into the album.
And he threw the glass at Zappa and almost hit moon by accident, not in favour of his violent acts but I wouldn't say he tried to bludgeon moon unit
