For crying out loud. Acting is the easiest thing to do out of all the performing arts. It's the same OLD crap with these megalomaniacs. They slap one another on the back, and really think they're talented. Actors are overrated slobs, and nothing more.

Okay, I'll give some credit to those who use method acting. Let's face it, it works. But, out of all the arts the most difficult achievement is music composition, and/or songwriting. Not anybody can do this, for it's a Gift. We can look back at thousands of good actors, but how many great songwriters/composers have there been over the past 200 years?

@terrafirma91 Wrong. Method acting is when you do the things as the character does to better understand them. For instance, say the actress playing Mimi in RENT does heroin in order to get in touch with her character; THAT is method acting. Don't try to tell me what I do not know. =)

In terms of composers... Stephen Sondheim comes to mind.
