my sister didn't like my Airblaster. tried to shoot many other things out of it but air, pencils, balls, toys, ect! Still it was a lot of fun. Finley wore it out the rubber diaphragm split

What would my childhood have been like without Wham-O? My best friend and I had these air blasters and had tons of sneaky fun with them. Lots of laughs. Then there was the Slip-N-Slide, Water Wiggle, Water Wiennie, Superball, and of course the Frisbee. Fond memories of good, innocent times.

I'm 56 and I still have mine. Still works too! I think Wham-o only made these in the 60's. Those Mattel Sonic Blaster Bazooka's were cool too. I'm sure my parents reeally regretted buying me those!

I do believe the still sell these... I had one when I was little, but I don't think mine came with the "weird monster targets". And "power of the wind"? I don't think so. "Hurricane gun"? Hardly. But it was fun.

I had the jumbo version.. the bazooka gun.. guaranteed to leave you without hearing after shooting from your shoulder.

@llazy1 I had one of those black bazookas too----but I think it was made by Mattel. I tell people that it was my favorite toy ever. It was pulled off the shelves because of kids would put the bazooka close to othe kid's heads and blow their eardrums out. I remember that it was loud---especially when new and when I pumped the handle to get it loaded with air. I see them now and then for sal eon Ebay (at a high price).
