x2 on what bigwood said. I have a 9500ix, and in Auto mode at slower speeds, it significantly reduces sensitivity to further eliminate false alarms & unnecessary alerts. Once the vehicle begins to speed up, it automatically increases sensitivity. This is an absolutely wonderful feature for those who do a lot of city driving. For those who don't like this feature and want to hear every alert, they can simply put their 9500ix in Highway mode and get maximum sensitivity at all times regardless of

If you have the 9500ix in auto it adjusts the range based on your speed. Notice the alert goes away when he slows and stops and comes back when he starts moving. This prevents falsing but if your comparing it for range to the v1 you need to put it in highway mode unless your actually doing 55mph. This test was no good.

I agree it did do alot better, I really like my 9500ix. I like the quiet ride but this test was scary.

valentine one did a lot better..thats like a ticket vs no ticket...

i understand it gives a lot of false alert but all it tells it has a sensitivity.
