I heard this in Forever 21 (yes i'm a girl) and none of the staff knew who it was by so I google the lyrics and it turned out to be DAM FUNK!!! I saw him in Sydney a couple months back and the man is amazing live! <3 him!!!

This remix was one of my favorite songs to listen to last summer, which is pretty impressive to me considering I thought the original version was really irritating. I have like 65% respect for Animal Collective lol. Sung Tongs was a cool album and in general they make some beautiful melodies but they have absolutely nothing to say. It's like, come on, you guys are adults now... Please stop singing about high school shit.

Prefer the original, if only because that one synth drum that sounds like a muffled gunshot repeating over and over again gets kind of tired. The ambience is nice otherwise, though.

Frickin NERDS! This is a good remix. If you really KNOW music, you can tell that he studied the song and made an entirely new track based on the original. It's well arranged, super melodic, and takes ANIMAL COLLECTIVE into new territory. This is what remixes are intended for. Quit being so protective of the band. Hell, if it sucked I don't think the band would've allowed it to be released, let alone making it as the A side of the single. Relax already and soak up the sun.

Yeah no. It's a fucking boring remix, the drums are flat and dull, the texture of the song has been replaced with dull arpeggiated synth, the only thing that holds it together it all it the lovely tone of the original vocals. The glorious shift between verse and chorus has been toned down until it's barely noticable. A minus minus, would not listen again.
