Oh yeah, it's weird how Palo Alto and EPA have two comptelely different demographic makeups, If you take a drive on University Ave in Palo Alto from downtown PA, it's all 2-3 million dollar homes you will see but meanwhile, once you pass 101 and the Ravenswood shopping center which is only like less than a mile away, your in the ghetto.

Ravenswood City School District (EPA & East Menlo School District) is garbage and got rid of the only high school in town, now our high school age kids are bused out to the surrounding communities, the film Dangerous Minds is about EPA high school age kids, and the adversity the face at places like Carlmont Hing in San Carlos where they are segregated from the anglo kids, the first group of EPA kids that went there were greeted with a banner reading "Beaners And Porch Monkeys Go Home"

oh yeah and also (i forgot to say this) its true that if you really come and stay at E.P.A for a while you gon notice that it aint that bad, staying here for almost 2 years i thought i would be hearing gun shots, seeing murders but really that's just stereotypical! I think its because of the time when it was considered one of the most dangerous cities in California, or wherever, that people think it still is. But East Palo Alto has really progressed since then ... <3

I grew up there in the 80's early 90's now im in GA. Back in the day that shit was wild with the crack game and the violence etc. I was on westminister, now I belive it's like million dollar homes there! I'm glad to see my hometown have Growth & Development! But for real though yall kids need to keep petitioning for shit, strength in numbers. Try to keep the peace and clique with people you think you would never hang out with...This is a good video.
