yes all of the regular features like the memo pad stay, if you dont want to loose them, back them up, they will all reload when you load it back onto your phone using the desktop manager.

it says 3g cuz in november the 5.0 os system will run saying 3g not 1xevdo.... newer phones like the storm 2 n such will display it like that.... great vid dude. i installed this 2 and i think its good with the threaded things... this leaked version does not have tabbed browsing tho im just as lost as you are.. i heard that they removed it because of all the freezing it caused... u heard anything?

No i haven't. That would really be nice. I haven't had freezing it as actually be running smother than the original OS and this is small but i really like the 3G logo instead the 1XEV. But yeah i am overall happy with the upgrade.

no it was the previously leaked version that had tabbed browsing that was freezing.... well with the release of the storm 2 tomorrow im sure 5.0 official wont be to far behind lol

Im still debating on wither or not to get the storm 2. I think i gonna go try it when it comes out and see how i like it. I really love my tour but i also love my friends storm and touchscreens. Such a hard choice.

i mean i wont lie touch screens are good but a person like me who txts so much wears them down so much...i just like keyboards and how fast i can type on em... with the os release they will be equal in speed and such so it comes down to preference

i was running this os for two days on myverizon tour and loved it except you cannot save videos you recorded and i cold not get app world or facebook to function correctly so i downgraded back to orginal os until i can find a better copy of os v5

Hmmmm, that's weird I just tried taking a video and it worked fine and app world also works. I have facebook 1.7 which just came out but the previous version worked too.
