I was a punkrock singer at 16 in my band Rampant Youth.

Recorded in the studio at 18.

Shot the film in 1995 with Tim Canty, the poet and Living Theater performer, and old friend I grew up with from the housing projects I was raised.

Tim was a real 13th Street squatter. He committed suicide shortly after his mother died in 2003. He was the black Arthur Rimbaud.

I wish the quality was better but I guess that is super 8

it works at 5:05 to 5:28 and at 5:36 to 5:38

I keep thinking there must be a way to get that old fashioned romantic look WITH high def.

I have high def on the brain lately.
