OK - OK. This is one of my favorite songs, so here it is:

@ 1:37 you're singing the word "hiledist ??" were you going for "highest" or "wildest" or you weren't sure at the time ?

Mind you, this doesn't take away from the fact that your an exceptional singer ... and a seriously fine fox.

Had to add the fox part because being a man, it's the very first thing I noticed.

This woman is a brilliant singer and performer and is backed by a first class pianist (Mike Orta) -- excellent arrangement and delivery. I've been a professional jazz pianist since 1955 and have heard them all.. these two are on the way up... big time.

Wow, I felt compelled to comment on this amazing singer.....the best thing I can say it is that I literally felt chills inside when I heard the first words of this subdued, rich voice. The other day I caught Wynton Marsalis on NPR & he talked about how the pauses and the parts you DON"T play or sing are just as potent as the parts you do.....just like the restraint a poet uses....."lisag6" 's comment below nails it. Am defin. gonna ck. out other Nicole stuff, as much as I can find.

I swa Nicole Henry today at an outdoor concert in Ft. Lauderdale. She really put on an impressive show, and Mike Orta, a longtime fixture in South Florida jazz also played great. I'm not a female singer fan of jazz, but she sang mainly all jazz standards, and did them wonderfully, so she's easily recommended.
