I think you should look into attaining some iron armour for protection and what not. Also if you want to be adventurous and tunnel into the mines, you could possibly find a dungeon, mine shaft, diamond, or even... a stronghold. By the way I think you should definitely think about making an enchantment table in the future and look into alchemy, herblore, brewing, what ever you want to call that jive. But uhh yeah, there are some suggestions. Any of those would be great to see in your series.

id say make a 20by20 and for 64to128 wizard tower but i dont think that would be time efficient nor fun unless on creative so ill just say that you make the house outside a 2 story house and make the upper level a bit smaller like the japanese temples and add a roof

It may just be me, but it seems higher levels require less food? I'm level 5, and I rarely eat.

hunger is based on how many blocks you break/distance walked (MUCH slower)/damage taken. i think something else too, but if you're completely idle it never goes down. hope that helps some way or another.
