I was well-dressed, but there are no restrictions on the elevators during the weekdays. I have heard too many stories of people getting kicked out of the SunTrust plaza, also they have large signs, demanding ID's be worn and that visitors check-in with security.
Well, they were required back in the 70's up to the 90's when crime was VERY bad in Atlanta. Most places don't require them today, since the city is much safer.

The public is allowed in there, from what I know. I didn't see anything that said otherwise. It just said "No Soliciting" on the outside.
