Whoa I remember the first time I fought against a poseidon thing I think it was in one of the underground labs but anyway I first heard like a hell of alot rumble... @Juannxz Pseudo-giants are incredibly easy to kill in Shadow of Chernobyl. I killed one with around that many shots, you just need head shots. But in Call of Pripyat forget about it, you'll need 100's of rounds to kill one in that game.

@TheNLguy In unmodded Shadow of Chernobyl, there's one in X-18 and another on in X-16 for sure. Sometimes, there's one in the Dark Valley after you exit X-18. I think they also appear in the stadium in Pripyat. In any ShoC mod, such as Oblivion Lost, there are usually lots more and you often end up fighting two, three, or even four at a time (which is tons-o-fun). In ObLost, I've had as many as four (at a time) appear in Pripyat. If you stay in the Zone long enough, it gets really intense.

I figured out a strategy for doing this without taking so much damage. First, you need a few stamina-bo0sting artifacts on your belt (which you have). Two Mo0nlights will do it, but Flashes and Sparklers will do if you don't have any Mo0nlights. Forget about energy drinks. You won't have time to chug those down while dodging the pseudogiant's bite, claw, and stomp attacks. Run around the giant staying within range to jump over its stomp attack and knife it in the face, jump back, rinse, repeat.

They're not very tall for "giants", just wide. And though they're the technically the strongest mutants in the game there are dozen of encounters that are far more difficult than a pseudogiant throughout the game.
