  • Nabeshin we all bow to your awesomeness

  • Yo quería ir a San Antonio para conocer a Nabeshin. No he ido a San Antonio desde 1995.

  • Not sure if I commented yet, but I have to give you props for interviewing the guy who got me into anime. You, jfreedan, are a winner in my book.

PS, here's a fun fact. Space Adventure Cobra is suppose to get a live action treatment sometime soon. It will be directed by Alexandre Aja, who you know best as the director of Mirrors, Pirahna 3D, and the remake of The Hills have eyes. He's also suppose to be a director of one of the episodes of the new scanners TV show.

  • @rebirthangel That's good to know! Thanks for the info!

  • Did any one else think it was kinda sad to see J Michael Tatums line to be like a mile long but Shinichi had a way smaller line? I love tatum but this guy is an AMAZING DIRECTOR. glad i met him.

  • You were pretty nervous, huh? ;/

  • @QwoPhasaArius Kinda, yeah.

  • @jfreedan Aww I'm sure most of us would be, too. In contrast he seemed so child out hehe. He's definitely a character, eh? Great interview!

  • @QwoPhasaArius Does he always dress like that?

  • @QwoPhasaArius Ahhh and then he goes and says he was nervous haha. I dont blame him, you had a serious face on! I bet he was thinking "Crap, crap, I bet this guy is working for some huge magazine" - little does he know only 130 odd have watched this; it's such a crime!

  • Its all too easy to hit up a torrent or a streaming site. Poor guys.

  • watanabe!! es genial!!! O3O

  • Also, I forgot to ask: is this director an idol of Chris Ayers? I seem to remember him talking a lot about Nabeshin and their unique friendship.

  • @Attritive Hey, thanks for the kind words! Yes, I'm very familiar with the work of the people I've interviewed. I'm actually a big fan of Nabeshin, as is Chris Ayres. He mentioned his love of Nabeshin's work in his interview.

  • I wish your interviews with these eccentric and interesting anime artists were more popular here. For instance, my favorites were with the wonderful Ayres brothers. It's easy to tell that you like these people and are fascinated with their work, but you keep a calm and simple approach to the interview, which I think they, in turn, appreciate. Hopefully you'll hit gold again some day, but in a way that gets the interest you and your interviewees deserve.

  • @Attritive Also there are ways you can help these videos become more popular. Youtube's algorithms depend heavily on the volume of comments, favorites and likes, as well as number of sites linking to a video. So if you help spread the videos around and 'like' them, it results in Youtube making the videos higher in search results.

  • That was an awesome interview,.

  • @Shintai123 Thank you!

  • Isn't it appropriate that the RPG fanatic's surname is spelled very similarly to one of a character in an actual rpg?

  • @Kytseo Are you referring to Martel from Tales of Phantasia and Symphonia?

  • @Kytseo si

  • Hey Carey. If I gift you a copy of Cthulhu Saves the World, will you review it?

  • @Grug16 Sure, however, my laptop sorta died. I don't have the ability to review any PC games at the moment. Believe it or not, though I'm a Youtube Partner I'm not exactly rolling in the dough and it's hard to justify my expenses. I do make a profit when I buy a used game for 10$ to do a review on it, but purchasing a new motherboard or laptop takes a lot longer to profit on. That said, not having access to a PC should be a temporary thing. I'm trying to resolve the problem.

  • Was he joking or was he serious about the suit thing?

  • @EdwardElric555 -shrugs-
