I also see a lot of leaps here. How is allowing people (regardless of age) to express their sexuality in a consenting, safe environment similar to letting one's child use heroin? I don't think Penn advocates rape as moral, and I don't think utilizing professional opinions qualifies him as a "fucking moron."

And sure age of consent here is 16. But nobody the fuck cares. My sister was 15 when she had her 17 year old boyfriend sleep over at our house and I even caught them once. And nobody cared. The idea that a 17 year old who goes with a 19 year old even wonders whether it's legal to fuck each other is something I'll never be able to grasp.
Violent movies, video games etc. do have an age limit but I have yet to find issues with that. I'm a gamer, at age 13 I bought games 18+ without an issue.

I love living in Belgium.
I could have at the age of 16 have my 16 year old gf sleep over in a double bed and have a good night. When we went on holiday we had our own room. At 16 we can go do dancings and such with international dj's in "big" cities(with alcohol involved). Dutch movies always have naked/sex scenes/cursing/homosexuality. Kids smoke weed and as long as they don't overboard with it we(school included) keep our eyes closed.
And still we have less teenage pregnancies...

Being 16 years old and a junior in high school (and male), I see no problem with teen sex. It happens all the time, and everywhere. The fact that the people over the age of 18, who also probably had sex below the legal age of consent in their state, are attempting to control when kids have sex is not only futile, but also just goes to show how the ego of the older generations inflates with age.
