I'm a muscle car fan, and I have a question about V-tec. It's not trashing it or not, but isn't it a system that just revs the engine really really fast to get more power? When V-tec kicks in, is the reading on the tachometer the right RPM?
@D13fledermause Wikiexpert here lol basically because making high displacement engines in Japan costs companies ridiculous amounts of money in taxes unlike here in the U.S. where making a car with a 5.0 liter engine is pretty much standard for a muscle car they have to find different ways of squeezing hp out of their relatively small 1.8, 2.0 liter engines. One answer was the V-Tec engine which changes the cam profile to be more efficient for lower or higher rpms (4000rpm+)

Don't forget these car was dyno in a dynojet not a mustang dyno so if the integra making 420hp on a dynojet that means on a mustang dyno it maybe making 350-375hp?? Same goes for the white eg
these motor's dont produce a lot of torque. But then again if you lighten everything up, you might produce moe torqe, i lightend everything up in my build, its torque as hell.... but then again i do runa six puck clutch...

Hatch Weight:960 kg (2,116.4 pounds)
Weight doesn't have much play in it at all. You only shave one ten thousandth per 100 pounds you loose. And its not a crx its a civic hatch.
