Not to mention this isn't mw2, you need dead silence. One difference between mw2 and cod4 is that people will sound whore you. Is much more aggresive on cod4. And people do have headsets, even bad kids have headsets its ridiculous. So you need that third perk and I use Iron sights its much more efficient in my opinion and I can take aim quicker.

First off I disagree with switching out your pistol for a random weapon you may find on the ground. I can do plenty with a golden desert eagle and preferably its the best side arm in the game and I can out gun a lot of people with that sidearm alone. I've beaten kids in 1v1s just using the desert eagle, its really good. Secondly, steady aim and spraying just doesn't cut it for me, the accuracy on the mp5 is impeccable, utilize it to its fullest extent.

Here is a set up of choice when I use an mp5.

Primary: mp5 w/ silencer

Secondary: any silenced pistol

Special grenade: smoke or flashbang

Perk 1: bomb squad or c4

Perk 2: UV jammer

Perk 3: Dead silence

This will make you (sound wise) completely invisible, great for flanking the enemy.

i read ur mp5 guide on ur site... i completely agree with u... the only thing is that im good with the mp5 on wet work... i just use uav jammer and deep impact.... it is good and u could go completely around the other team and pick them off without them knowing untill its too late... it was still a good guide... i guess it depends on the player for which maps are good or not...

dude if u have actually played cod4 u would know what im talking about. that "range" bar reduction has no meaning when u fire from the hip, especially with steady aim on. and the mp5 in particular has really good range with hip fire

im not talking about the range if you can hit someone, im talking about the range that has to do with damage. SMGs have low range which means that their full damage is reduced quicker than for example an assault rifle. mp5's highest damage is 40, and that is when you're close to someone. if you shoot someone from far away, the mp5's damage is already down at 20, especially if youre using silencer.

If you like coming up at a group of people use a silencer, because you can kill one and the rest won't see you as a red dot on the radar. If you play hardcore, then use red dot, because they cant see the radar anyways.
