I have not heard this song for years until tonight on a tv programme about welsh tenors. I had a david Lloyd album when I first heard it, a long time ago! Thanks for reminding me of a great welsh ballad.

Thank you catrin. I have a niece named Catrin. Yes, I entered one eisteddfod several years ago, my first and only attempt, and did not win. but i did learn a lot about competing. Eisteddfodau teach you a lot about singing live with an accompaniast. I play the piano myself when I sing and I had never rehearsed with my accompaniast and in the live performance it was difficult. But maybe Ill try again some day! It was a great experience.
