Una excelente banda de rock progresivo con elementos jazzísticos, toques bluseros, notables arreglos instrumentales y mucho rock, uno de los grandes olvidados de la escena musical norteamericana, esta gente sabían hacer buena música.
SCREW MCLAUGHLIN, DIMEOLA, MILES DAVIS, CHICK COREA, JACK BRUCE AND LIFELINE.....They were all late coming to the party...The Flock sent out the party invitations!!!
I saw the flock at a place near Rockford Il. I was 15 they blew me away, then a year later I saw them with johnny winter and edgar in Denver, just as amazing it was right after they played the Denver Pop festival where one of the pics for the 1st album was taken of Jerry Goodman. It's great to see others who are just as excited about the band after so many years.
1970 maybe '71 I went to the fairgrounds in Rochester, NY for a double bill, The Flock and the James Gang. The Flock's guitarist didn't make the show so no Flock songs were played. Very disappointing, and I never saw them again. However, Jerry Goodman jammed with Joe Walsh and the James Gang, maybe the first and last time ever!!
These guys were at least 10 years ahead of their time. I had this album in the late 60's thanks to a musician friend from Rochester, NY who was a drummer and knew great talent.
They didn't make it big time...you make me laugh. You need to read more about their history.

Great to see video of The Flock. I have always liked this tune and Jerry was pretty nifty in the Mahavish too, eh!

I'm from Rockford IL. I had their LP back in the 70's. I think Kansas ripped their sound off.
