Mh, this is such a great and sad game, I love it when his appearance begins to change and you get this feeling that something goes terrible wrong here.
And for me the whole setting works perfectly; when riding through the empty and dead landscape you also get this uneasy feeling that there´s something wrong.
I´m not going so far to call it art, but it´s a really great game with a terrible sad ending, and I love this kind of story.
I really admire things outside the box from time to time :)

I just finished playing this game. It is the best game I have ever played. I seriously cried when Argo fell, I couldn't believe he was gone. Then the end he limps up to the girl and I had tears of joy!!!
Couldn't get past the gay underwater boss. So I watched this. I might go back to the game, don't know, it wasn't really fun, it was just... an experience I guess.
this is the prequel to ico so he the one that started the horns on a kid thing in ico. so this must have took place like 100 years before ico cause they must have done that after emion got wander( the main character)

@Darknectar18 ps3 was a fail, they could have made it better than the 360 by looking at its mistakes and trying to avoid them but didn't. they wanted their money as soon as possible and we all payed for it. ps3 is now either as good or worse than the 360.
@MayorBoom Actually, they did a test with the PS3 and 360 and found out that PS3 has the capabilities of what the 360 could only accomplish via Accessories that cost around $200-250. So in that respect, i would have to say that the PS3 has to be superior.

And the garden is where Dormin was when speaking down to Wander. Dormin is voiced by both a male and female. Someone mentioned the male part of Dormin going into Wander and the girl into Mono. Skeptical??
I just finished this game yesterday and have a few lingering questions/comments:
1. With Mono, Agro & baby Wander living in the garden, would they be able to eat the fruit. Obviously the fruit lowers Wander's HP but I'm confused as to what it would do to another person. Somewhere I read that Wander eating the fruit of the land makes him superhuman and that this regular fruit equalizes this? So maybe it isn't bad?

Ico is not the child portrayed in SotC. Ico was born of the loins of Muraj and Suru of the village Toksa. This child is simply the first of the cursed horned children. Ico is born after a long line of the children are already sacrificed to protect the village. In this case, though, Toto is able to sacrifice himself so that Ico can use the sacred markings from the lost Book of Light to overcome the evil of the Castle and save his people, and himself from the curse.
@amelliea92 When you are on your way to defeat the last colossus, you cross a 'bridge' with your horse that starts to break (kinda like the bridges on puzzle games; the bridge is divided into segments and when you step on one it falls) . So on the last segment of the bridge, Agro (the horse) kinda raises his lower part to push you to the end, hence saving you from falling. The horse falls though.
Just youtube "SOTC Agro falls" or something, I'm sure it'l pop up...

After playing as Dormin, I finally knew why how hard it was for the colossi to hit you and how slow they actually were. It's like a small splinter in your skin that you can't get out.
@AsterBarnivere The main theory as how Dormin was so slow is because it borrowed wander's body to create an avatar of itself, it gained the crippled leg that he had from the arrow moments before. You can see that one leg gets dragged around.

I remember I completed the game and thought: "I dont like this ending", I played through th game again thinking "Maybe if I manage to kill those guys before they run away, I'll get a different ending!" Unfortunately, that was not the case...
Alternate ending sequence: Eat fruit from the Secret Garden to reduce your HP as much as possible. Dormin will now be killed when shot by the crossbow, and will alter the following sequences.
I never understod why people thought this was such a great game. All you did was climb shit and then at the end, the ONLY character I kinda liked (Dormin) gets sucked into a well.... Are you kidding me?! What kind of ending is this? You don't know fuck about the characters!

@ChaoticSymphonies The fact you don't know much of anything is what makes the game so beautiful. Instead of being given a written book, you're left with blank pages (which they did on purpose..) so you can add on to it.
It makes you actually think about what could be why when how, instead of just being told how everything goes.

@amelliea92 When you are on your way to defeat the last colossus, you cross a 'bridge' with your horse that starts to break (kinda like the bridges on puzzle games; the bridge is divided into segments and when you step on one it falls) . So on the last segment of the bridge, Agro (the horse) kinda raises his lower part to push you to the end, hence saving you from falling. The horse falls though.
Just youtube "SOTC Agro falls" or something, I'm sure it'l pop up...

because, the demon "dormin" has used him to get resurecct, after killing the whole colossus. the power of the fountain has changed him into a baby, because he must paid the price for that what he did. certainly with a curse!! a little bit of dormin is still in his body. the horns!! he is the first of the horned children. ico is a descendant and one of them!!! ico and sotc are intertwined

After playing as Dormin, I finally knew why how hard it was for the colossi to hit you and how slow they actually were. It's like a small splinter in your skin that you can't get out.

@AsterBarnivere The main theory as how Dormin was so slow is because it borrowed wander's body to create an avatar of itself, it gained the crippled leg that he had from the arrow moments before. You can see that one leg gets dragged around.

Alternate ending sequence: Eat fruit from the Secret Garden to reduce your HP as much as possible. Dormin will now be killed when shot by the crossbow, and will alter the following sequences.

I never understod why people thought this was such a great game. All you did was climb shit and then at the end, the ONLY character I kinda liked (Dormin) gets sucked into a well.... Are you kidding me?! What kind of ending is this? You don't know fuck about the characters!

Unlike the crap that comes out nowadays (cough cough COD cough cough). What? Dormin that back-stabbing son of a bitch is your favourite character, what about Agro your heroic steed.By the way if you played ICO this ending would make sense to you, it's beautiful in many people's opinions.

@ChaoticSymphonies The fact you don't know much of anything is what makes the game so beautiful. Instead of being given a written book, you're left with blank pages (which they did on purpose..) so you can add on to it.
It makes you actually think about what could be why when how, instead of just being told how everything goes.
It's not for everyone, I'll admit that.
