I live in Chicago and these are two of my favorite pastors. Pastor Joseph Walker came to my church a few months ago and tore the church up..... I enjoy Pastor RA Vernon, powerful down to earth pastor.

And it should be no suprise, in light of all the recent mega church scandals and moral failures it's foolish to say that because a man has a mega church that God blessed it.

God says there would be men who would perform works in His name but Christ would not know them. They'd even cast out deamons, but God didn't know then. So don't get caught up in the work. It's funny that that's the same way most people defend Vernon.

Very true. But I have seen nothing but God inspired preaching by this particular preacher. It is not wise to make assumptions about mega churches. Paul had a mega church. Thousands gor saved under Paul's ministry in the Bible.

Paul was an Apostle not a Pastor. He started, not pastored churches. This the church as a whole.

The bible says that they labor in vain that build a building that God dosen't build, but that don't mean that it won't get built.

A man can start a company and by himself grow it to millions, you honestly think that he can't do so in a church? a lively service is way more important that preaching truth. I can send you a link on how one man can grow his church to 500 people.

Not because of his "ministering" but because of his sticky fingers. What he needs to do is stop lieing and tell the truth about what really went on. Thank you for posting this. I just moved to Atlanta from L.A. and been hungry to hear the Word from my old pastor, Bishop Joey and his son Pastor RA Vernon. I'm so glad that my prayers haven't returned void- his anointing is STILL flowing- HALLELUJAH!
