The thing about runway shows are that they dont really have to be wearable. Thats all haute couture. I think Christian's outfits were fab. The first few didnt really look the same. It was just all black and of course in a collection garment have to be similar! Thats what the collection is about.

with all due respect for Christian's novelty and style throughout the show i never stopped asking myself a question: WHO the f*** can wear that except for VB and in the last show i got the answer VB. Sorry, but all he does is unwearable for an average woman. I mean, he's a great designer, but not for women, he's designing for himself, top models or "fashion icons", who needs it but for them? Thus, this show can't win, because there's no function behind this show. that's my vision

It's a runway fashion show. They're designed to show of the style and inspire what the clothes will be modeled after, not what they will be. Obviously the average person can't walk around like that, but the basics and foundations of the outfit and the style and look he's going for is what's important.

What I like about Christian is that all his outfits are memorable, Jillian's and Rami's were just a bit too plain, although I did like a couple of their outfits.

Jillian's and Rami's collections were a bit plain, I do agree. The problem is that I also consider Christian memorable yet not wearable. Soon or late we won’t be in front of a fashion show…we will be in front of a costume show.

Fashion industry has turned lately into a place where the best designer is the one that "screams the most". I don’t think that’s what fashion and elegance is about. As Rami used to say "I'm not here to make noise; I'm here to create something beautiful".

I completely agree. It seems whoever the guest judge prefers the most will win. Like the dress that Suede (sp) won with Nat Portman judging. It was HIDEOUS, but I guess it fit her funky taste.

When I heard that Chris won my first thought was: "Def because of Victoria Beckham." He is talented, no doubt, but they both seem to be into the whole unwearable/overexaggerated/WTF­-were-you-thinking High Fashion bullshit.

the last dress was just fine for me, 1:38 was the one that looks like chicken.

Though i agree 1:16 is really most dramatic, especially when the model did her pose in the camera - she look so superior, she stare at the camera like with sarcasm, like she's so expensive, but that's how edgy fashion should be.

1st, 2nd, and 1:16 outfit are my favorites.

I agree, I didn't think her collection was as strong as Christian's and Rami's. I'm so glad I wasn't I judge, I loved both Rami's and Christian's collections. Although I'm glad Christian got it because Rami has his own place in LA already and has made a dress for Stacy Ann Ferguson (Fergie) for the Pre-MTV VMA party in Miami lastyear (I think, I'm not sure). Glad Christian won though, this means he can finally start his own business and when I move to NY I'll be able to buy something by him :)
