Ok, so I tried field stripping my gun before checking out any videos, I briefly read the manual and decided it didnt seem too hard. When pulling the slide away from the gun the "take down"button", spring, and firing pin ejected across my room. Not fun, AND THEN I wasnt sure where to put them back, lol! Glad I came across your video!
Nice video I just purchased this very same model in all black. I got a chance to shoot 10 rds of federal ammo but quickly found this gun will jam every other rd. Im not impressed at all yet but we'll see after i shoot more ammo brands. Thanks for the take down video it definitely helped
@awomansworld123 I just got this gun today, I friend needed money and sold it to me. Its in REALLY rough condition, it had 5 rounds in it. I fired every one of them off off without a hitch, I hope I dont end up with the same problem. Im not sure what ammo was in it though, it was what ever he already had in it...
Chris.. The reason you had to fiddle with it while putting it back together is you had the spring on the barrel, and it goes under the barrel.. I don't think I would want to shoot it the way you put it back together... You put it back together all wrong!!
The snap caps are used to "dry fire" the gun. It gives the firing pin something to hit as it would if there were a round in the chamber. Dry firing a rimfire gun is not really good for it, this is why we use the snap caps. I hope this helps.

i hate the way these style guns re assemble..my bersa 380 is a PITA to put back sometimes..but the takedown is much easier
GunNut12680 1 year ago
do you need the clip to do it
14340420 1 year ago
No, you can do it without a clip.
chris22824 1 year ago
Yes, I sometimes use a spent casing to do that.
chris22824 1 year ago
Can you use the caseing of a spent round instead of a snap cap?
glock22fyi 1 year ago
You can find snap caps at your local gun dealer or do a google search for them.
