I agree, some of them were proper scary, nowaays people would probably sue for mental anguish and would die retreiving a Frisbee from a pylon - Ah the irony! ;-)

Those public information films were scary! I remember them showing kids playing on train tracks and climbing up electricity pylons to their deaths! A good mix that nicely trivialises the dangers of drowing! ;-)
