  • Don't say it's a lack of respect that's insaulting

  • I'm Tyler and I'm 17 years old. Respect for your elders is something I'm big on with my friends. If I see an adult that says I can call them by their first names and Mrs and Mrs, I choose to call them by Mr. and Mrs. My mom raised me that way, that's how she was raised. I don't like to be called Mr. Myers, I would prefer Tyler, but I enjoy calling adults my Mr. and Mrs. If it is a coach, bus driver, or teacher, I call them Mr. and Mrs. regardless.

  • Respect has little to do with what title you use to address another individual. Your first names are not insults, they are your names. If you wish to be called something else, you should inform the individual and from there on out being called anything but that maybe considered disrespectful because they do not honor your will. Respect is honoring each others decisions and opinions based on the assumption that we are of sound character, not titles or how you address each other as individuals.

  • Kids need respect to.
