Yes it does work with 360, I beat TTFAF with a controller on Christmas day.

Easy part of TTFAF is the intro, post insanity, So far away 3 and Twin Solo are the hard parts on controller.

Hold down green and tap the other buttons on side quickly, if you even hold them down for a split second instead of tapping you will miss

I can do that on a 360 controller, you just have to get your fingers off of the buttons in time for it to pull off onto the green note.
