Strange group setups-You have a Feral druid in you're group..And I thought Mind blast was part of a SP rotation?None the less,good work on the shatters,I don't think we've killed gruul without someone dieing,and hes on farm xD

I was just playing with shadow, I am normally a holy priest, so I probably wasn't playing it right. Also consider in this video I still have on a bunch of holy gear. We had Gruul on farm long before this video so I doubt we were worrying about optimal groups or anything like that.

Hunter's should not have mana problems. I personally have a problem. I only have 4/5 T4 and 1/5 T5 on my hunter and I have NO problems with mana. I use Aspect of the Hawk until I have 20% mana remaining and then I switch to Aspect of the Viper and it keeps my mana regenerating and I basically don't loose mana. You should be specced into your shots costing less mana. If not I suggeest you either respec or just have viper on all the time.

seems like shadow preists just spam mind flay...while the mana/hp coming from shadow dmg is nice...shadow preists aren't the best dps choice

Yeah, Shadow Priests aren't meant to be the best at DPS. A good shadow priest can keep up and provide reasonable DPS, and they give back tons of MP to whoever u put in em groups with. Also they aren't just mind flaying. They just mind flay when they aren't putting up dots. I think some spec for DPS and cast SW: Death a lot during fights. On the Nillum Illidan video or some illidan video it has a Shadow Priest as top DPS. All classes have their advantage/disadvantages. Usually im holy though

Almost all DPS classes do nothing but cast 2-3 spells repeatably. DPS is mindless, it is why I choose to be Holy most of the time.

If geared correctly shadow preists can out dps pretty much any class but you aren't supposed to base all the epix to a mana battery that's why they're so nice they keep all the mana needing classes going.

see i think if you want to go shadow priest for raid go ahead, healing os fun maybe you will like it if u try it out, but we all play to have fun so if they wont let u have fun leave them for a better guild

Priest + shadow = big ego. I like your buffs shadow priests give (mana/healing) but otherwise your DPS sucks. just stick to healing. like priests should.

Yeah I am actually a holy priest that was temporarly speced shadow for that fight. I had mostly holy gear on in this vid. My guild wanted me to go though so I went.

I think healing is way more fun than DPS. But, lot of people have been forced to go shadow because having more than 1 or 2 healing priests in a raid is pointless anymore. But in the later fights Shadow Priests are immensely useful. It sucks, but its Blizzards fault.

IMO Healing > Shadow.

I think we had like 9 healers. Most raids we bring 2 shadow priests now. They are useful. I'm not one of them though. I went back to healing.

heh, half the gear Im wearing is healing gear. They just needed a filler for a spot. And I was farming at the time. =) So I was shadow. I actually have a little bit better gear now. Not much though.
