the person throwing the green ball needs to rework his wrist action because the ball is dying before it gets to the pocket... if you guys get into any oiled patterns you will pretty much be bowling straight balls that spin...

You're a decent bowler with a lot of potential. If you could keep a stronger wrist and learn to throw more out to get a better angle in, you can get more pin action instead of just having pins topple over one another. However, if you still want to play down and in, I'd drill the balls a little stronger so you can get that good drive into the pocket and might be able to get a messenger to help out on them ringing 10's!

nice bowling dude. i have a suggestion on how to get a harder and more backended bite. where u r releasing the ball is too early in the downswing, and u seem to not get enough rotation. release later in the downswing and also bring your hand to the side of the ball. u seem to have your hand straight like a handshake the whole time. try and bring your hand on the side right before the release and you will get much more backend and rotations. great bowling besides those few thing though =]

I actually haven't bowled in SO long... like a month and a half. Don't worry, I'm not quitting... it's just that my league ended and I haven't gotten around to going bowling lately. I'll start back up soon.

Also, I use Windows Movie Maker to edit the video.

WMM is good for simple editing, like what I am doing with this video, but for fancy effects and stuff, it's not good. Also, I am only 14, so I can't drive, so when I need to go, I have to get my parents or a friend's parents to drive me there, and a lot of the time, they have stuff to do.

Lol why would you sand a ball to get a more angular reaction? More surface will be smoother off the dry and read the mids sooner. Polish is what give you more length and retains more energy for the breakpoint, which makes it come harder off the spot. Your nickname suite you well, wannabe.

well, think about, his vibes a dry oil ball, polished, is giving it more length and watching the vid, it looks like its going too long and hitting light, maybe sanding it would give it an earlier roll getting it to pocket

yeah i've had the emerald since summer. its a pretty good ball.
