You know, I was thinking--why doesn't he have eyebrows like England? Iggy did take over for some period of time not long ago why France was in Syria and Lebanon. So...? Or is it to represent that Egypt got rid of the English influences?

@theawesomethatisi Seychelles was also under the rule of the UK, but she doesn't have such eyebrows either. Same goes for Egypt and India. The reason is probably that those are independent countries nowadays. Unlike Australia, who has Iggy's eyebrows...but then again Hong Kong has them too, and he belongs to China since 1997...ermm, it's complicated, I think XD

@SkadiPirate Its probably because Egypt, Seychelles and India had their own civilization before English rule and their own civilizations are the dominant people within the countries nowadays while Australians are dominantly english.

@theawesomethatisi I could be wrong, but I always figured that it was because Egypt, India, and others like them had been around long before the English arrived. In contrast, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Northern Ireland (to name a few) were not their own entities until England made it so. Their previous peoples were completely wiped out or reconstructed by England (Australia; New Zealand), or their region was just one part of a whole nation (Hong Kong; Northern Ireland).

Yes you're right that the others had less power. But these here nations were strong and kicked France and Iggy's butt out, except for Lebaonon, they weren't under the control per se, but they loved French culture and stuck to it.

@theawesomethatisi I think it is because Egypt and India were already established as countries before England came into the picture. They had connections and a large trade system that kept a lot of England's influence out of their culture. Australia, while it had native people, the "civilized world" did not know about it until England decided to use it as a dumping ground for criminals. This lead to English influences. Hong Kong was cursed to have them when he was sent back.

Learning the Arabic letters isn't as hard as learning Japanese characters, but it's a lot harder than learning the Cyrillic alphabet. If that makes sense ^^;
