I played in this tournament for BC Force and played against Golden State and defiantly think that they deserve to win. They came into the tournament replacing a team from Huston. They won our group by 2 points ahead of NY Hota Lions and advanced to play 2 great CA teams (Nomads and Pateadores) and won the vw jr. mastes fair and square. Good Luck FC Golden State in Poland. GO USA!!!!
Yes Golden State was out of the competition in the regionals and asked to come back in to replace an East coast team. Definitely Golden State Academy was NOT expected to win. But they did, not by cheating but by beating all the other really good teams in the competition and especially the CA teams which were ALL exceptional. The Pats and the Nomads are great teams. But now the right thing to do is give it up to golden state & support our US Champs!

First, Golden State should not have been there to begin with, they didn't qualify from CA regionals (lost to Nomads in semis). VW brought them back because other teams from out-of-state dropped out. However that's no reason to add back a team that failed to qualify. Stick to the facts.
actually it is easy oldmanutd99, thanks to volkswagen and their effort to produce the best representation for the US, here is the problem though, you have a son that failed to perform or make the top team which makes you jealous and envy, dont beat yourself over it, there is always AYSO, or you are a coach bitter about your team that didn't make it, and missed out
on the glory, its ok oldman just stand up and salute best of the best, they are part of history and you are not, give it up.

@OldManUtd99 Buddy, you sound like a sore loser. This Golden State team used to be former Cosmos Academy West & we have played them several times including last year in Vegas. They play beautiful soccer 
 while on the small side is a future Messi! Go USA, Go Golden State!

It was nice finish scored by number 10, he made it look so easy despite the pressure he was under, good luck FC GOLDEN STATE, represent, we are rooting for you, go USA.
Not surprised that these boys went all the way, we played them during our first match & were very impressed. Certainly they are the future of U.S. Best of luck in Poland, make our country proud!
