I love it. I took my son to see Arlo Guthrie a few nights ago and what a show. Not only is he a great musician but an amazing storytelling as well.

I believe with all my hearft that "This Land is Your Land" should be recognized as the true National Anthem for the United States.

I don't know where the event took place but the enthusiasm that Pete shows in encouraging the audience, is umatched even by the best of contemporary singers. Though Woody wrote the song, but seems like that Pete has sang this song to the maximum no. of people. He cheerfully extoll people to participate with him. I would love to see more comments flowing in for this song, it certainly deserves

@shashankmehra1 For some reason, this jewel of a video never seems to come up when you enter "This Land Is Your Land" into a YouTube search engine. I only found it because I look for every version of this song that's ever been recorded: I first heard it at a live Pete Seeger concert when I was four. I love this version; you should also see the video from Woftrap in 1993, again Pete and Arlo together.

@ledder68 Hi there... Just now I read your comment.. I saw "This Land is your land live at Wolftrap"... I am short of words to describe the spark one feels watching and hearing this song. Pete's face is so genuine! It just comes from deep within "May god bless Pete"

Does anyone know where this concert took place? I remember watching it on pbs ( I think) in the late seventies. Is it Wolftrap?
