In Texas the is about 38,000,000 registered vehicles and our registration is $50 a year.
38,000,000 * $50 = $1,900,000,000
Texas spends about $2,000,000,000 on roads each year and they also collect revenue from inspection as well. This is a voluntary tax. You do not have to pay it if you do not want to uses it. There's the bus or a bike if you choose to use it.
A state shouldn't have to pay for another states roads.
Let me ask the ron paul fans this question because it truly baffles me. Ron paul is a libertarian and the line I always get from libertarians is that it is all about freedom. freedom from prohibition and unfair regulation etc. But did he not just come out against birth control? In Texas the is about 38,000,000 registered vehicles and our registration is $50 a year.
38,000,000 * $50 = $1,900,000,000
Texas spends about $2,000,000,000 on roads each year and they also collect revenue from inspection as well. This is a voluntary tax. You do not have to pay it if you do not want to uses it. There's the bus or a bike if you choose to use it.
A state shouldn't have to pay for another states roads.

Ron paul is a libertarian and the line I always get from libertarians is that it is all about freedom. freedom from prohibition and unfair regulation etc. But did he not just come out against birth control? @savebury You are wrong, he actually spoke out agains gardasil and not as much the medicine itself , but the fact that Rick Perry was FORCING 12 year old girls to do so. The truth is that the "medicine" has led to just slews of other health problems. It was the stand on parent's rights that his basis was. Morality isn't anti freedom, there should be inherent good in all of us to look out for the least, but morality shouldnt be dictated by law. Noone should "force me" to take care of anyone.

Obama expects at least a billion dollars for his campaign, plus the unions, SEIU, UAW, NEA, and others, which supply not only votes but funds and workers at the polls, which is worth hundreds of millions. First of all, the person who is running the site 'ronpaul-com' should disable their STORE! Citizens go to his/her site to order material, and in return RP only receives 10%. If patriots order material directly from RP's 2012 campaign site the funds directly goes toward the campaign.

If they do not listen, someone else who sees what you are saying will eventually look up Ron Paul and see it himself and change his opinion about him. We need to get larger.
