  • You had me fooled. Good one :)

  • @ShogunWarrior36

Thanks ... that was the goal.

  • haha back hand swoop, i thought this was a joke and then saw you doing it for the first bit of your video and i was like wow that stuff works? i thought this was a joke and it turned out to be

  • @RayHusted

Good. I gotcha at first! :)

  • dam i got tricked.

  • @laxwithme

I'm sure you're not the only one. I was hoping I would trick some people; although, it was difficult to remain serious as I was demonstrating the bogus techniques.

    Dr. Dave

  • Oh crap!! You almost broke my brain!

  • @GetMeThere1

Good. Then the video was effective. :)

  • @DrDaveBilliards : Yes, very effective. I never imagined Dr. Dave playing with loaded dice!

  • @GetMeThere1

... anything to prove a point.

    Regards,

    Dr. Dave

  • son of a noob. go practise more. and it is not a nice joke

  • I hope you realized the whole video was a joke. I thought I made this clear later in the video. Some people actually do this stuff on purpose hoping the balls will do what they can't.

Dr. Dave ("son of a noob")

  • Maybe I misread you comment. Are you implying my joke is disrespectful because some people teach and/or use these techniques? If you or others were offended, I am sorry.

Dr. Dave ("son of a noob")

  • I'd like.

  • ??? ??? ???

  • Actually, the going is to liking not what you want to do, but actually do what you like to want.

  • beautiful shorts

    cheers for tips

  • Thanks on both accounts. :)

    Dr. Dave

  • @DrDaveBilliards crazy 8 ball. I want one. Do a video video with that 8, where you do a masse shot on the cue ball, and say you transfered the masse to the 8 ball. LOL! cool video on the swoop and turn. =D

  • @crrazyy

What would really be fun is an S-turn masse shot. When I get some time, I'll give it a try.

    Dr. Dave

  • nice shorts.. but thanks 4 help

  • good job, keep it up. 5 stars

  • did u get a new pool table?

  • I wish. I filmed the last set of videos at a friend's house in Denver. It is a sweet house and table.

    Dr. Dave

  • cool

  • hehe I have one of those "trick" 8 balls been using it for years. I did however see, Sir Ray Ceulemans perform a legal shot, without elevation, in which a toothpick couldn't be inserted between cue ball and object ball, by wiping the tip across the cue ball during the stroke. It's not exactly what you're talking about, nonetheless it's an amazing shot, which takes an even more amazing stroke.

  • I would think that "wiping the tip" wouldn't be considered a legal shot. You have to stroke into it if I'm not mistaken.

  • @ehsanul Actually, it is legal as long as the shot does not result in a double hit. There is no rule about how long the cue tip and ball remain in contact.

  • sorry i left a comment before i seen all the clip

  • So you believed the stuff at the beginning? Shame on you! :)

I wish that were my table and house. I filmed the last set of clips at a friend's house.

    Dr. Dave

  • Dr. Dave,

You almost had me with that second shot! I was just thinking to myself "HM, did that just really happen?!"

Great stuff Dr. Dave, I'm enjoying these videos as much as I have enjoyed your Illustrated Principles of Pool and Billiards book! Keep up the good work, and Thanks again!

  • I'm glad you liked the video, and thank you for the kind words. Please help spread the word about my stuff.

    Good luck with your game,

    Dr. Dave

  • Amazing a great way to show off in front of friends , did u get a new table ????
