i find that if i do bantu knots on wet hair it doesn't look as good as when i do it when my hair is dry. and it seems to be more moisturized and last longer when i do it when its blow dried.
washing your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo. It helps to keep the moisture in your hair and still cleans it. Many will cowash often and shampoo once every couple of weeks.
Hi, i was wondering how you look after your hair now that it is semi natural? my hair is the same length as yours
Also how do you do your eye make up with the bronze because it looks lovely in all your other videos please? and especially since am 22 and I have no clue how to put eye make up on :) You really are a pretty girl
I just have to tell you I did the BC and i've had my natural hair for 2 months and U fall in love with ya hair when you BC. I'm tell you. I took out my braids and i Kid you not my Hair longer. your already natural just think about letting go of ya permed hair... THINK ABOUT IT.. I'll post picture for you If you want... Just think about it.
nice video. i think you would look really nice with the BC done. if you've ever thought of wearing your hair short, nows your chance. if not, more power to you. regardless, your hair still looks nice.
Hey I use vitale hair mayo too, I like it, it works really good, but just a heads up, it's kinda a mild protein and using it too often may not be a good thing, but if it works for you, keep on wit the keep on. Oh and I think more and more women are going natural, it's like the newest trend, cause I see alot of young girls at my school with mini chops and fros, also on youtube you see many ladies transitioning. Best of luck to ya on your natural journey and much luv. Dang I'm long-winded lol.
Ambrosia GIIRRRRRLLLL! you are extremely creative. I have been following your youtube and blog for a little over 2 months now and I love your style you inspire me to he the higher me! lol I live by the bantu knots now, although my hair is not natural. its a good look to disguise all my new growth. I can't wait to try this braid out bantu, because i am a frequent of the regular braid out and that takes me so i know this look will be another HOT look to fashion for the summer!!!
Girl you so cute! I also did the bantu knots tis weekend however I did mine with the two strand twist. I love the look it gives me. Just wild with my TWA. I look forward to your video later today.
Hey girly! The hair looks healthy! I'm sure that people have already told you this, but you don't need to to do the BC in order to go natural. The only thing is that you're going to have to deal with dual textures, but it seems like you can handle that!
can we see the results? And yeah i've been reading that you don't actually need to do the big chop to become natural which is very good!! keep us updated on your transitioning.
I think you will look bomb with a short hair cut...u have a short hair cut kind of face lol you would look sooo pretty if not more wit a short hair cut. i wanna cut my hair but im way tooo chicken lol
hey ambrosia. u have inspired me to go natural and ive been transitioning for about 3 or 4 months now. i didnt do the big chop. but i wash my hair every 2 weeks and i flat iron when i wash and thats it. but for sum reason i have been experiencing alot of breakage. especially frm the roots. do u know why and o u know what i cud use to stop it?? please get bak to me asap
itz just a natural thing when u r transitioning for a long period of tyme! to different hair testures end at one place.and the perm end dats attached to the root is the spot that is goin 2 break off. let's say if u we're transitioning and not goin to cut and do the big chop then those ends will grow and fall out and u wont miss them!
thats what happen to meh when i transitioned until i chopped all my hair like a mad person!
i hope dis helped...u shud cheq all the hair guru's for information
but just be aware of heat damage, also natural hair in the summer is the best, u wont have to worry about keeping your roots from getting 'puffy', plus you can jump in a some water and not even care about your do.
It's been 8 months already!! Wow, congratulation on sticking with it. Seen like it was yesterday when you annouced your decision to go natural. lol. Can wait to see your morning results. Take care :)
