This skinny beanpole of a young man walked over to me and said, "Hi Mr. Kraft I want to introduce myself im Tom Brady", and I said, " I know who you are your our six round draft choice. And I always remember he looked at me like a lazer, eye to eye and he said, "that's right, and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made."
@ThePeytonManningFan you are very arrogant concluding that, during the 2007 super bowl the giants staff used tv sound detectors to detect the plays the pats were calling... and still they only won on a miracle catch. ALSO, Peyton Manning blowssssss
it's like how most of the world's most successful business people almost ALL had terrible school reports and sometimes even dropped out and told they'd never amount to anything and a lot of nobel prize winning scientists were told they were stupid at school, thomas edison being a famous example. same with brady in his area. in soccer, both of the best 2 players in the world, cristiano and messi, were turned away by TENS of clubs due to not meetingg ''criteria''. people are always wrong........
@hjastroi personally, i think ''benchmarks'' favourt he average by their nature, as they are so anti-individual, so when someone ''different'' comes along they are shunned, even though usually it's a good thing. but also, i think when people know what they are capable of, and the world doubts them, that can really do something to people, it can create a driven mentality that is more powerful than any performance enhancing drug. im no brady, but i can relate my final success at gettin into oxford
i don't care if he lost to the giants in 2 superbowls,i don't care if montana has 4 rings, heck even bradshaw has 4 rigns.Brady has been to 5 superbowl something the other two never did.Brady is the best ever.
And, I highly that there will only be 5 either if he keeps playing the way he has the past two seasons. I think loosing this year will ignite the fire to win another one even more than it would've had they won against the Giants....
WHOS BETTER ELI OR PEYTON. I PUT MY OPINION AND I WANNA HEAR YOURS. COMMENT RATE AND LET ME KONW WHAT YOU THINK. THUMBS UP PLEASE. I JUST WANT ONE VIDEO WHERE I HAVE ARGUMENTS AND OPINIONS. RIP INTO ME AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. YOUR SCARED IF YOU DONT...
damn he was slow as fuuuck! great quarterback but jesus, id smoke him in a race. I guess that goes to show you value of heart, because one of us is millionaire.
I love how young Tom listens to all the criticisms and says, "That kinda gets me fired up, 'cause I'm thinking 'What the hell do these people know?'" You gotta believe in yourself to be great in sports...
Its funny how Tom Brady has 3 superbowl rings.. and well I couldn't tell you anything about Giovanni Carmazzi cause this is the first time hearing his name
What a lot of those critics said was true (except the part about mobility, Brady can avoid the rush pretty well). He is a system type QB that is exposed when having to ad-lib. He reminds me alot of Rich Gannon. He runs a dink and dunk offense to his great TE's and Welker but can never force the ball downfield or make plays under pressure. He made a living by being a system QB with a great defense. He will be exposed again against the Giants and their D-line.
@whyamimrpink78 right thats why they have a great scoring offense, He had the highest powered offense in 07 where he threw the ball down field all the time.
@HxCMMoore He had Randy Moss as a WR. That is the only year where he was able to force the ball downfield because he had an elite receiver. All the other times, especially now he hasn't been able too. Other QBs in history were able to force the ball downfield without having the luxury of a Randy Moss. He is like Rich Gannon. Dink and dunk offense, good defense no running game so padded stats and wins. He is a good QB just not a great one.
@whyamimrpink78 just watch him win the super bowl Brady is no system QB Matt cassle spent 5 years behind Brady learning and watching and cassle was actually good outside of the patriots system. Does 500 touchdowns and over 5,000 yards in a sytem make a system QB because only a select few QB's can do that
@whyamimrpink78 no running game if you add up all of the rushing yards from the runningbacks and brady you get 1,300 rushing yards that a running game if you ask me
@whyamimrpink78 the saints were like what last in rushing attempts which is why brees got so many yards Brady is the systme he taught cassle so well that he knew the system same with aaron rodgers and matt flynn
@TheJewballer Brees and Rodgers can force the ball down field. When Welker and a TE are your leading receivers that isn't say much. They run that dink and dunk offense where Brees can actually complete long passes with receivers that are just as good as what Brady has. And Cassel sucks. I am a Chiefs fan and we wanted to get rid of him ever since we got him. He is nothing but a career backup (with whom the pats still won 10 games under).
@whyamimrpink78 cassel led you guys to the playoffs although I do feel that orton is the better QB you can't hide what cassel did for your organzation n helping you get your first playoff berth in a good amount of tim. threw 27 tocudhowns ad 7 INTs and is a pro bowler. He was a little off this season but it was because he had no running game not everyone can be like brady with no running game and still win games.
@TheJewballer That year we went to the playoffs we had an easy schedule, a great defense and a great running game. He didn't have to do anything. As soon as the running game went south(mixed with a bad OC) Cassel sucked. He is what he is, a career backup. Plus he had that success under Weis, the same guy Brady had success under. How would Brady look if he didn't have Weis and/or Bellichick during his time?
@whyamimrpink78 Brady would be fine without them if you knew Belichick tried to be a head coach for the browns and he wnt 5-11 and was fired than he got the patriots head coaching job and went 5-11 with bledso then the next year they started 0-1 and Brady came in in the second game and they were good ever since this is proof that Brady made belichick. Joe montana had the greatest reciver ever to play jerry rice if brady had rice he would have 10 rings the sad thing is I'm not joking.
@TheJewballer Belichick went 5-11 in his first year. He was building team. Most coaches don't succeed under their first year unless they take a team that is already good, and then they fall apart later. He built up a winning team and he would have most likely done the same in Cleveland if they would have kept him there. If they would have had Bledsoe that year they would have still won the Super Bowl.
@whyamimrpink78 Ever heard Jim Hargburgh he took a horrible 49ers team and with great coaching turned them into a NFC championship representive. Bledso proved he could never et he pats to the superbowl later in his carrer with the bills and cowboys. I like Bledsoe but thing would of never worked out for him in New england n way he could win 3 rings with troy brown and daid givens as your top recivers.
@whyamimrpink78 a great defense? The Patriots were ranked 2nd last in the league this year on defense and yet somehow they are in the Super Bowl. Plus Tom Brady is considered one of the best ever by most experts, analysts, coaches, players, ex-players etc.you think you're opinion is more valid?
@Hatter14 There were ranked 15th in points allowed and 3rd in turnover ratio. That helps a lot. Also, Brady is more hype then good. Like I said before, if Scott Covington(or some other no name) was Bledsoe back up that year then people would be talking about him being great. Brady is a guy that couldn't handle being a backup in Michigan to getting lucky enough to be placed in a good system like New England. Any other scenerio has him stocking shelves for a living.
@whyamimrpink78: I agree with you about that, although they were wrong about his arm. He has a good arm, but not a freak arm like Elway or Jeff George had. That part may have improved over time, however, through weight training, because he looked like a skinny malnourished Ethiopian at the combine 12 years ago.
@sptrfn All QB's in the NFL have a good arms. I have seen division II QBs with good arms that made it into the NFL. It takes more than a good arm to be a good QB. But arm strength aside, being able to force the ball downfield with either arm strength like Elway or accuracy like Brees is an important quality of great QB.
TOM BRADY IS A LEO. AND PEYTON MANNING AN ARIES. THEY ARE NATURAL BORN LEADERS AND HAVE THE DESIRE TO BE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. THESE TWO FIRE SIGNS MAKE ONE HELL OF A FIRE SHOW WHEN THEY COLLIDE. ALL FOOTBALL FANS KNOW IT.
Jr Redmond Was a Big Part of the 2001 Super Bowl Champion Patriot Team. He Made HUGE Catches in the Snow Bowl and on the Last Drive in Super Bowl XXXI. As For Bill Walsh, We All Make Mistakes, though it also was him who said Rick Mirer was the Next Joe Montana. Just to Be Safe, After Tom Brady, Lets all Stop Comparing any QBs to Montana lol
7:25 "The next Joe Montana was on the field that day, he just happen to play for the other team" EPIC. If Brady manage to win the SB ds sunday, he will truly be legendary.
Man did they get it wrong on Brady. Probally kicking themselves in the ass right now, cuz it looks like the Patriots are headed to the Superbowl...........ugh again
Its funny watching Steve Mariucci explain and make excuses on why they didn't draft Brady, also its even MORE hilarious cuz they passed up on Aaron Rodgers as well. From a Green Bay Packer fan and Tom Brady admirer, thank you 49'ers.
Mooch didn't pass on Rodgers. That was the genious of Mike Nolan.... Mariucci made the same mistake very team made on brady. Passing on Rodgers was a FAR bigger error simply because everyone was high on him coming out of college and knew he was a first round pick.
@GeneralxGrievousx what's even better is that aaron rodgers was RIGHT ACROSS THE BAY. HOW DO YOU MISS THAT? YOU HAVE TO BE BLIND NOT TO SEE TALENT TWICE IN A ROW.
@GeneralxGrievousx yeah now if you look at tombrady hall of famer , aaron rodgers basically passing at ease great player they passed up on 2 great qb's ... ( mind you they picked the one and only alex smith)
@nyphix4321 alex smith would be just as good as a.rodgers or T.brady is he had a coaching staff that bielived in him and didnt bench him ever other game and an O-line that didnt suck dick. look at him this year. new coaching staff, an ok O-line and he and his defence bring their team to the NFC championship.
@MacBubbles Cool, good to see a fellow Packers fan with an open mind. I like Tom Brady becuz he doesn't care about what people thinks about him and just does what he does best and thats to be a quaterback. I hate it when people tell you cant do something just off assumptions, thats why the 49'ers didnt draft him. They were too busy looking for the next "Joe Montana".
Agreed. I fell in love with Rogers in the 2009 season (before the SB hype). I hadn't been much of an NFL fan up until then. No one else peaked my interest as much until I started paying more attention to Brady this year. Every time I saw him play, I wanted to watch him more. He admits he doesn't have Vick speed, and I don't think his canon is as good as Rogers's. But, this vid sums up my conclusion that there's probably no player more hard working or determined than Brady.
@sbxlloser You've gotta realize that's how football was. Being another weak stature player like Joe Montana wasn't supposed to happen again, and no one really understood what it was like to have that "fire" inside of you to want to prove everyone wrong, because they only ever expected strong first round quarterbacks to become the next Montana. And do you know who Alex Smith is? He's booed at home by the 49ers for the last what, 5-6 years? He's a step away from the Super Bowl.
@2Point0s Have great respect for your opinion and thanks for the response but 49ers being 1 game away from Super Bowl had almost nothing to do with Alex Smith (defense was simply awesome). He's got a long way to go to be considered star Qb. In fact he had numerous chances to win the game for them and not only did he not deliver he couldn't even generate a 1st down.
@2Point0s One point in particular with 4 mins left in the game with the ball they didn't even give Frank Gore (their best player) a single carry and Smith threw 3 incompletions for quick 3 and out (apparently Harbaugh doesn't know what 4 min offense is...)
All of the other cock biting QB's were playing in the douche Conferences while Tom was playing in in the BIG 10 on the winningest team in college history.
the guy that made the patriots into such a threat that the pats gained soo many haters and bangwagoners its unbelievable LOL. Pats fans of this generation will forever be spoiled and after he leaves its gonna suck :(
@TheLEATHALlover true, but who knows if he would have been as good as is now if he played with the 49ers. we never know. Walsh is a great coach no doubt, on of the best of all time. maybe the brady/belichick connection reigns supreme.
@drbayoms Hahaha be thankful, for what? Kid all It takes is one man to know the game and perfect it. Walsh started the dynasty and still is the best dynasty in the NFL today name another man who invented plays that are still run today? Even has a offense dedicated to him west coast offense. Also prick name another man who drafted over 3 hall of famers and had the winning most dynasty for 20 years. Yeah thats right be quiet i know what the great bill walsh did and I respect the man greatly.
Try Chuck Noll, Landry, Lombardi. Ever heard of them you fucking idiot? For a guy who is so damn smart, your dumb ass did not even know that the W. C. Offense is a variation OF SOMEONE ELSE'S CREATION. Let's see if your ignorant ass can figure out who originated it. And are you telling us that Landry was not an innovator? How old are you idiot?
This is what happens when your knowledge of football comes from watching ESPN all day.
The 49ers of the 90s WERE NOT a dynasty. Dynasties aren't 1-5 in NFC Championship games (91-99). Brett Favre and the Packers kicked your sorry ass out of the playoffs 3 times. Your only Super Bowl of the 90s (4th ring was technically part of the 89-90 season) came as a result of Jerry Jones thinking he knew more about football than Jimmy. The Cowboys and Packers owned the 49ers in the 90s.
Excuse me, 1 of 5 in NFC Championship games in the 90s. Bill Walsh is the greatest, be thankful he graced the city of San Francisco with his talents..
Though i'm a Texans fan i must say i'm a die hard fan of Tom Brady. He wasn't a numero uno pick but the way he proved himself as being the strongest quarterback since joe montana is respectable. And oh boy, he is very confident of what he says and what he will come up with next.
Tom Brady to Robert Kraft :I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.I was like wowwwwwwwwww.....
@buzzzkilled I was saying that they're similar in the way that they're both hyped athletic qb's, and frankly i don't believe that tebow will be in the nfl for long
tom brady at age 22 in todays nfl combine would of been laughed off the field. Thats if he even got an invite. Too much emphasis on eye candy today. Who knows we may have missed out on this generations tom brady because of that.
@KWCline91 thats the evolution of the game. Dan Marino days are long gone. The Brady model of a QB is what works best. Nothin else works long term. Not the vick model, and certainly not the Tebow or Newton model. you win by having a dude who can execute every down and dictate the game. It doesnt matter how good he looks with his shirtoff or how high his vertical leap is. Its almost like the NFL scouting corp is full of 14 year old madden geeks.
the real truth about Kraft meeting Brady according to Brady was that Mr. Kraft called Tom "Kyle" and didn't EVEN know who he was by name--true fact! [Payton, Manning, Favre DVD] from NFL films.
@alphab1 Not quite true, though he did originally call Tom ''Kyle'', he mixed him up with a player called Kyle Brady. Kraft did know who he was and did know he was the sixth round draft pick quarterback, he simply mixed up names.
@NotSoDave you're right, my comment was a little vague. Kraft did know that Brady was their QB and he accidentally called Tom "Kyle" instead of "Tom." it should have been stated that Mr. Kraft accidentally called Tom Brady "Kyle" by mistake.
@alphab1 To be fair to Mr Kraft, he did have a tight end on the roster called Kyle Brady. I do think he did know as much as should be suspected about Brady including his first name and just made a small slip up.
@mybigwang1 JS in my mind Brady is better than Montana. People FORGET that yes Montana was a great QB, but he did have some really shitty performances. How about the 1987 NFC Championship game vs the Vikings? He was actually pulled from the game and Steve Young was thrown in. Tom Brady is the most consistently clutch, amazing performing QB ever to play in the NFL. You'd never see Belichick pulling him out of a game to throw a backup in there.
Why do QBs need to run a 40 or do a vertical jump? Proof why the combine is ridiculous. Look at college achievements, and judge the players on that. Brady won 10 of 11 games, he was a captain, he was accurate. I WOULD HAVE DRAFTED BRADY EASY based on that. Easy to say now, I know. But I would have done that.
bill walsh only made 2 good qb decisions. montana and young. thats it, after that he had shitty taste. he said rick mirer was the next montana and then carmazzi?? cmon coach!
TOM BRADY SON OF SAN MATEO CA.!!!!!!!!PROUD SERRA HIGH SCHOOL PADRE!!!.FUCKNG NINERS AND THE YORK FAMILY WE MISSED THE NEXT BEST QB IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME NEXT TO JOE MONTANA,BRING BACK ED DE BARTOLO.GOOD LUCK TO TOM AND THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS HOPE U GUYS WIN ANOTHER SB ......FROM A NINER FAN

As For Bill Walsh, We All Make Mistakes, though it also was him who said Rick Mirer was the Next Joe Montana. Just to Be Safe, After Tom Brady, Lets all Stop Comparing any QBs to Montana lol

Its funny watching Steve Mariucci explain and make excuses on why they didn't draft Brady, also its even MORE hilarious cuz they passed up on Aaron Rodgers as well. From a Green Bay Packer fan and Tom Brady admirer, thank you 49'ers.
GeneralxGrievousx 1 month ago 36
@GeneralxGrievousx
Mooch didn't pass on Rodgers. That was the genious of Mike Nolan.... Mariucci made the same mistake very team made on brady. Passing on Rodgers was a FAR bigger error simply because everyone was high on him coming out of college and knew he was a first round pick.
lizdubach1 1 month ago
@lizdubach1 Very much so, it would suck the very moment when you realized "I just fucked up on a pick".
GeneralxGrievousx 1 month ago
@GeneralxGrievousx what's even better is that aaron rodgers was RIGHT ACROSS THE BAY. HOW DO YOU MISS THAT? YOU HAVE TO BE BLIND NOT TO SEE TALENT TWICE IN A ROW.

@GeneralxGrievousx yeah now if you look at tombrady hall of famer , aaron rodgers basically passing at ease great player they passed up on 2 great qb's ... ( mind you they picked the one and only alex smith)
nyphix4321 4 weeks ago
@nyphix4321 alex smith would be just as good as a.rodgers or T.brady is he had a coaching staff that bielived in him and didnt bench him ever other game and an O-line that didnt suck dick. look at him this year. new coaching staff, an ok O-line and he and his defence bring their team to the NFC championship.

Weird. I'm a Packer fan and Tom Brady admirer, too.

But, this vid sums up my conclusion that there's probably no player more hard working or determined than Brady.

sbxlloser 1 month ago
@sbxlloser You've gotta realize that's how football was. Being another weak stature player like Joe Montana wasn't supposed to happen again, and no one really understood what it was like to have that "fire" inside of you to want to prove everyone wrong, because they only ever expected strong first round quarterbacks to become the next Montana. And do you know who Alex Smith is? He's booed at home by the 49ers for the last what, 5-6 years? He's a step away from the Super Bowl.
2Point0s 1 month ago
@2Point0s Have great respect for your opinion and thanks for the response but 49ers being 1 game away from Super Bowl had almost nothing to do with Alex Smith (defense was simply awesome). He's got a long way to go to be considered star Qb. In fact he had numerous chances to win the game for them and not only did he not deliver he couldn't even generate a 1st down.
sbxlloser 1 month ago
@2Point0s One point in particular with 4 mins left in the game with the ball they didn't even give Frank Gore (their best player) a single carry and Smith threw 3 incompletions for quick 3 and out (apparently Harbaugh doesn't know what 4 min offense is...)

drbayoms 1 month ago
@drbayoms Hahaha be thankful, for what? Kid all It takes is one man to know the game and perfect it. Walsh started the dynasty and still is the best dynasty in the NFL today name another man who invented plays that are still run today? Even has a offense dedicated to him west coast offense. Also prick name another man who drafted over 3 hall of famers and had the winning most dynasty for 20 years. Yeah thats right be quiet i know what the great bill walsh did and I respect the man greatly.

Name another man who drafted over 3 HOFamers?
Try Chuck Noll, Landry, Lombardi. Ever heard of them you fucking idiot? For a guy who is so damn smart, your dumb ass did not even know that the W. C. Offense is a variation OF SOMEONE ELSE'S CREATION. Let's see if your ignorant ass can figure out who originated it. And are you telling us that Landry was not an innovator? How old are you idiot?
This is what happens when your knowledge of football comes from watching ESPN all day.
drbayoms 1 month ago
@TheLEATHALlover

KWCline91 4 months ago

[Payton, Manning, Favre DVD] from NFL films.
alphab1 5 months ago
@alphab1 Not quite true, though he did originally call Tom ''Kyle'', he mixed him up with a player called Kyle Brady. Kraft did know who he was and did know he was the sixth round draft pick quarterback, he simply mixed up names.
NotSoDave 5 months ago
@NotSoDave you're right, my comment was a little vague. Kraft did know that Brady was their QB and he accidentally called Tom "Kyle" instead of "Tom." it should have been stated that Mr. Kraft accidentally called Tom Brady "Kyle" by mistake.
alphab1 5 months ago
@alphab1 To be fair to Mr Kraft, he did have a tight end on the roster called Kyle Brady. I do think he did know as much as should be suspected about Brady including his first name and just made a small slip up.

JLov05 5 months ago
when brady retires he will be better than montana
mybigwang1 5 months ago
@mybigwang1 JS in my mind Brady is better than Montana. People FORGET that yes Montana was a great QB, but he did have some really shitty performances. How about the 1987 NFC Championship game vs the Vikings? He was actually pulled from the game and Steve Young was thrown in. Tom Brady is the most consistently clutch, amazing performing QB ever to play in the NFL. You'd never see Belichick pulling him out of a game to throw a backup in there.
crx122 5 months ago
That guy Mel Kiper has the worst hair ever. He's weird also.
CarlosERS89 5 months ago
Why do QBs need to run a 40 or do a vertical jump? Proof why the combine is ridiculous. Look at college achievements, and judge the players on that. Brady won 10 of 11 games, he was a captain, he was accurate. I WOULD HAVE DRAFTED BRADY EASY based on that. Easy to say now, I know. But I would have done that.
TonyDanza4Lyfe 5 months ago
