Tips: You should make double doors on your house, also to put items in your chest faster shift click the item into the chest, and by the way... did you ever get a chance to watch paulsoaresjr's beginners tutorial?

@GuyEatsSandwich225 Last night, sick as a dog that I was, I did manage to see his newest survival video and it was so intriguing. He was building a cottage and what took me by surprise was he had shown how to collect tall grass and tree leaves! He is really smart and sounds JUST like me when he talks! lol! His humor and the way he says things makes it sound like I was listening to myself! lol!

Essence. Start fraps, and then press F11 when in Minecraft. Then press F9 (Or whatever you set your hotkey to start recording) And your Minecraft game and recording should run very smoothly. Or, it does for me atleast.

@TheCdestre Alrighty, I shall try that right now as a test. I am starting to think that my problem was I would start fraps as soon as I started the game up. I should wait a few minutes and then record. That'll give the game more time to generate the world and not lag. I will do that and use your method as well! What does pushing F11 do, if I may ask? ^___^*

@EssenceOfTruth Pushing F11 makes the screen go into full screen. What this does is it get's rid of your excess things such as Start Menu and Screen options. When you go into full screen, the game tends to run faster! Atleast for me anyways... and hopefully you too!

@TheCdestre Oh! The basic F11! I know about that, I just meant what does it do for FRAPS. I should have been more clear, my bad. lol! The game runs beautifully for me. Its FRAPS I am trying to get to record the game smoothly for me. Someone gave me some tips on how to help in that department. Once I get it right, I should be just fine.

@EssenceOfTruth It does nothing in FRAPS unless you set it for a hotkey. Also, to make FRAPS more smoothly, try to play with the FPS amounts to see if it runs better or worse on either of those. Of course, you want better. I think it goes from 30 to 60, or you can type your own.

@KeKe8422 You sure can and it is the ONE thing you don't want to do. If you die after traveling a LONG distance somewhere and after accumulating great items without storing them somewhere or if you get them while exploring a new place, you will start ALL the way back to the place you spawned and would have to travel ALL the way back to where you died and get your items back. Depending on where and how you died.

If u want it to run smooth I suggest you use a screen capture program like snagit or hypercam which work well with games that are windowed :)

@Gastromserpant True, but I tried hypercam. I hate that it leaves it's name at the top of the screen. I may test it out. A friend actually offered snagit to me. But, those programs are ones you have to buy or else you won't get the full effect, right?
