First of all, great cover. I finally finished this piece to my satisfaction. It's fun to play and always a crowd pleaser.

What I'm most impressed with though is the quality of the audio! Do you mind me asking how it was done?

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.

For recording I use a C01U - USB Studio Condenser Microphone

And the software is adobe audition.

After I record a song I usually add a little reverb effect.

I can't tell you in what position you should place the mic. Try to experiment and find the perfect place. There are lots of tutorials on the internet on this topic.

Haha. I am trying to learn this to. The tuning goes like this:

E(3)C(4)D(4)G(4)A(4)D(5)

It's a complicated ass tuning and you have to watch out when your tuning that second string cause it goes up 2 whole steps from A and if your strings are to old it might snap. I recommend changing your strings every 6-8 months if your are trying to take your playing to this level.

6-8 months isn't nearly enough. if you are playing on a regular basis after 8 months the strings will be dead and have no tone left.

Unless coated strings it would be more like every 2-4 weeks in my opinion.

my coated string broke in lik 1 to 1.5 weeks =S . i think its cos i play alot of these type of songs.. where you have to keep changing the tuneings. and the strings become weak.
