i was not saying the origin of conflict doesn't matter at all, but most westerners respond to this incident by trashing the chinese govt only. this is not an objective and fair attitude. the origin of sino-tibet conflict involves so many ethnic, culture, and socio-economic factors, which we are not familiar with. so we can't just arbitrarily judge and blame the chinese govet. there is usually no black and white in political and ethic conflicts, the same goes with the case of Tibet.
There were fightings going on because Dalai Lama's brother had connections with the CIA and was used by them to increase influence in Asia during the cold war. Do the Tibetan wanted to fight the Chinese? I don't know. Think about what Tibet was like before it was occupied by the Chinese. The clip is made by a media source based in Hong Kong and the interview is about a doctor who got assaulted when he tried to help those in need on the street of Lhasa. The guy who is crying lost his sister of just 18 years old in the flames and his wife is paralyzed after jumping out of the window to escape the flames.

Since armed invasion in 1949 up to 1960's there were regular fighting in Tibet. Up to this day there is ongoing persecution of Tibetan buddhism and destroying cloisters. You can't be surprised that Chinese are viewed as occupants.
Nobody questions that harming innocent people is wrong. Just remember it's the Chinese who started it.

i was not saying the origin of conflict doesn't matter at all, but most westerners respond to this incident by trashing the chinese govt only. this is not an objective and fair attitude. the origin of sino-tibet conflict involves so many ethnic, culture, and socio-economic factors, which we are not familiar with. so we can't just arbitrarily judge and blame the chinese govet. there is usually no black and white in political and ethic conflicts, the same goes with the case of Tibet.

There were fightings going on because Dalai Lama's brother had connections with the CIA and was used by them to increase influence in Asia during the cold war. Do the Tibetan wanted to fight the Chinese? I don't know. Think about what Tibet was like before it was occupied by the Chinese. The injured gentleman is a Tibetan medical doctor. He tried to save othr people who were attacked by a mob. But that mob turned on him and this doctor was heavily injured.

Minority ethnic groups gets accepted into schools with lower scores, one child policy does not apply to ethnic groups, numbers of vacant position in government be filled with ethnic group people. guy, two persons are intervied in the tv,i.e., one tiber chinese and one han chinese. Both are wounded by the tibet gansters. For the han chinese, his younger sister aged 18 was burned to death, and his wife was paralyzed when she was forced by the gansters to jump from 7 floor to the ground. The tibetan doctor in the vedio was beaten by the gansters when he tried to rescure a dying person attacked by the gansters.

One 18-year old girl who's not tibetan died in the fire set to a shop owned by her brother in Lhasa.
A Tibetan doctor got a bruised eye and other wounds when he was trying to rescuing those badly hurt by the fire. He was beaten despite his annoucement that he was a doctor.
