This album is awesome, the concept is simply amazing. Same with Blood Mountain's and Crack the Skye's concepts, they are out there ,but no band can pull of a concept album like Mastodon, ALL their music is wicked including Remission, Call of The Mastodon and their upcoming album The Hunter will be good too, but these albums are not conceptual pieces. Thats why Leviathan, Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye are my favs. IMO Crack the Skye's concept reigns supreme.
