  • Hmm I find there are many Indian professors in every scientific field yet ive never seen a large Indian company like sony, hitachi, ryobi, pioneer, technics, LG, fisher and pykel, westinghouse, maytag, panasonic etc blah blah .

  • Thanks Dr. Sukhendu Das for the lecture, they are really helpful

  • awesome

  • Incredible in a single word.

  • oh god. The accent is killing me :p.

  • This is a very good video .. Think I'll maybe watch the other ones also !

  • thank you. very informative video sir.

  • India is the world's top in IT. I'd pay some serious attention to this guy, great material here

  • god people from the west are soo fucking stupid and racist damn

  • @Roshan3L

some people are stupid & rascist, others are not but if you're generalizing then you show yourself to be equally stupid. ;)

  • Anybody can win, unless there happens to be a second entry

    Luk. P.S.

Me lastima, que esto no es Unix system.

  • When you don’t know what true for you, everyone else has unusual influence.

Values are deeply held personal beliefs that form your own priority code for living.

Values are the individual biases that allow you to decide which actions are true for you alone.

    What are your values?

  • good vid !!!

  • I consider it a sign that the video opens with a chant. I spent 6 years living in an Ashram during the 1970's, and some part of what I learned has remained ingrained to this day. So... yes, I like this video, and yes, I will use it to learn computer graphics. commenting on other comments regarding the clarity of your accent, I can understand you very well, however I am sure that others cannot. The addition of the wors was a good idea. I look forward to learning from you.

  • love it

  • All videos are really helpful.i appreciate the knowledge and effort

  • I listened all the lectures of this series and found it very much helpful. He has the ability to make the lesson easy, clear and simple. Thanks once again

  • If any one has a the time please check out my Animations and please comment and Tell me what you think! Thanks subscribe too if you want! Hope to hear some comments Have a wonderful Good New Years!

  • I have a feeling internet is go'n to change education for good. Knowledge without borders or boundaries...

  • Thank you Harry..I owe you man

  • Thank you harrymetalgear and killcount666 for posting those nice comments. I my self am indian and i aprreciate it. Most people make fun of our accents. To be honest most indians dont really have an accent. It depends on where your from. And for all those people out there making fun of this guy, he makes more money than you so show some respect O.O

  • his accent isnt bad at all...ive heard worse believe me! This is great material

  • @Farzanumeric apparently somebody uses Bell's customer service

  • great yar! keep delivering this type of video 4 this mite.....

  • thanks

  • it is just me or does it sound like "com-pa-ters"

  • No offence to his bland diagram... but the moniter doesn't send information back to the system...

  • His accent isn't that hard to understand.

  • For those don't know , some of the best softwares like Adobe photoshop, imagedraw etc have been made by indians and IIT's come in the top institutes in world ....

  • The Recommended References @ 39:00 ...

  • Guys looking for entertainment, quit immediately. This is too boring and the stuff will be above your head-level anyway. Done a rich course of Graphics - this will be a repetition course. The style is best suited for the Asian ear. For competent students in Science, Engg. & Technology, please have patience to hear all 40 lectures. A text book with you will be helpful. Die-hard fans of American "accent” find a free youtube technical Graphics course, published by MIT, STANFORD, BERKELEY, OXFORD

  • thanks for the video.. really helpful

  • how to download this video on my system

  • That's a great video. Thanks to made it available :)

  • i dont speak or understand that much english, but i totally understood wat he sais =).

  • @mick23586 ur r wierd lol

  • ddf lan

  • i would be upset if i paid good money for this scam lesson.

  • Thanks for this lecture

  • lol

  • @succaba dude.. lighten up.. Can't u see the word "INTRODUCTION" in the title. If u want details, continue to watch the rest of the lectures (its a series of 40 lectures)

  • Is there a recommended book and exercises to go with the lectures? It's nice having lectures, but without meshes/textures you can't really practice.

  • excellent work!

  • Comment removed

  • @ashmytube This is reply

  • There are several sites that will download for you.

There are several free converters, which are nice to have anyway, because you change almost any format to any format.

  • well it seems IIT is the best institute...

    these videos are conceptually awesome...

  • how to download all the videos of the related topics just through single process???

  • Well all the videos of the related topics i don't know,, but u can download individual video using either real player or Youtube downloader (google it to find the setup of you tube downloader)

I personally recommend to use you tube downloader because it also allows you to convert various videos as well audio into different formats.

  • hey a youtube downloader of xilisoft only allows to download videos in one process..

or else with IDM it can be done..

do you have the key of IDM???

  • You can go to the nptelhrd channel page and choose playlists. That will allow you to see all the videos of a given series through your browser (But I am not sure if that is what you want)

  • IIT

  • Thanks for providing these videos. You can rewind and replay if you are unable to understand the bilingual professor. I am grateful that I am not expected to understand his native language. Now that would really be difficult. Stay with it awhile and your ear will adjust to the dialect making the accent less noticeable and the lectures more understandable. The benefits of this quality educational information outweighs the challenge of practicing careful listening. Thank you Nptelhrd!

  • These are great lectures, full of contents and very interesting.... but come on, indian lectures need to improve their pronunciation... It isnt just bad, it gets very hard to understand many times and i dont get many words they say....i seriously think there must be an institution in india that help lectures improve their pronunciation... and make it more understandable..

    Its just my opinion.

  • -flash drives are excellent.

-why would i want my blawdy flash card on me mate???? pmate? public? public washroom? high crime areas??

-wow my enter key hurts (wanka)

wow this piece of electronics is heat....there is heat...plz tell the world?!!!!!!!

  • Stay away from A-data,they don't last long if you use them a lot.

  • so einen günstigen Onlienkurs kann sich nur ein MrHasenputz reinziehen, wahrscheinlich fehlt Ihm das Geld für einen Kurs den Er versteht!

  • Is there a simple way to download all the lectures in one process?

  • ang galing naman ng ginawa

    mo

  • Where can I get the power point he is using :)

  • you can go to IIT Madras website, type in the search tap the Dr. name, Sukhendu das go to his personal page and then under the courses section you will find computer graphics course, then you find all the slides

  • great lecture i finaly got to view it, only thing you have solid computer graphics examples listed yet transparent computer graphic images for your first simple solid object computer models.

    cheers-j

  • This is Awsome!!! :)

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm so happy to see IIT Madras is providing these for free!, Coming from Mechanical Engineering background, I have missed all these basic Graphics stuff. Sukhendu sir! , thanks for providing this excellent lecture. Its a privilege to listen to your lectures!.

  • Why all the arguments ?

    Just watch and learn . . . .

You might even discover something new ! ! !

  • Thank you IITM and professor Sukendu! I have always wished to have such teacher at my college, but unfortunately no one. Some stupid have commented on his accent, for those people there is only one thing to say, "YOU ARE SIMPLY UNLUCKY!" Can't help bosss!

  • i still have to find a lecturer as amazing as professor sahami. from programing methodology from stanford.

  • Some people have a bit of a superiority complex (undeserved) and he was not hard to understand at all. His accent was just fine, and with the slides you know exactly what he is saying.

Judging a school by the fact someone cannot control the fact they are foreign, as if it is a fault? That is just sad.

    Correct?

  • Wow what's with all the stupid comments here? The worst part is that they aren't just stupid, but aggressively stupid.

  • come on friend, give them a break. at least they are providing material for free! maybe we just need to adjust our ears and concentrate a bit more, maybe then you can understand them. lets not be negative but remain positive and support all free education material.

  • @textureArtist Actually, in his place, his accent is fine. It's an Indian university. Idiot...

  • I love the Indian accent. It is so lovely and musical. If there is ever a country I want to visit, it is India.

  • Grow up! What a chump. In 5 years you'll be begging the likes of him for a job. Get used to it and get over the accent. At their growth rate, you'll be lucky you don't end up a colony. Ever wonder what you'd sound like speaking his native language? Probably not. You no doubt wouldn't think something through that far.

  • relax man, dont be so sensitive.

  • Please unplug your keyboard because you bore us with your redneck attitude. You are a retard and please don't post your stupid comments on intelligent videos , you can comment on videos like "funny cats videos" cos that is more close to your understanding.

Now FUCK OFF and erase your youtube account.

  • You spelled descend wrong genius.

  • thank you please come again
