Reminds me a lot of the old service they used to run here in Houston, TX. Up until 2004 there was a 6-minute flight between Ellington Field (~15 miles south of downtown) to Bush Intercontinental (~20 miles north of downtown).

@prglg Probably longer than this considering the preflight checks, programming of the nav, autopilot and other such equipment that a small prop doesn't need.

That, and the fact that both those runways are almost certainly too small for one :-)

@kabouterplop19 That was actually one of the more entertaining parts of the trip. I wsa talking with the taxi driver in town and arranging the ride to the airport. He picked us up ~45 minutes prior to the departure time and we drove up the road to the airport. He then put on his reflective vest and went to work as the ground agent for the airline. It was impossible to be late as our driver did the dispatch, too.

Very good. I've recently been creating Orkney Islands airport scenery in the X-Plane flight simulator program and enjoying flying around these islands in the virtual world, so it's great to see it in real life!
