@HaloReachFanatic1 Thanks :) put a lot of effort on it, lost a lot at same time, that video means a lot to me in a way nobody knows. ;) I think about putting more tags maybe, i dont really know, DDo isnt really popular on Youtube, and in the gaming society. Sad, because its a very well made game, outbest a lot of crap out there!

I love DDO (just built Lvl 2 Paladin). I quit paying to play PlanetSide to play this when I heard free. I just wish it had more. The things such as trades, homes, (mounts??), etc. I'd like to have the feeling of "living in the game". I still play Ultima Online after 12 years and it still is awesome too (though not like it use to be).

Anyhow. DDO RULES ! !

@BruceJAX Yes all that will come in the next year in DDo, read about the upcoming upgrades that Turbine will do. Its going to be one huge change for the game. As for the free content, unfortunatly, its not like everyone would expect, but at least, they are willing to improve it. Thanks for you comment. ( no mounts in Ddo, since its not a open world.)

By the way... great video. I downloaded DDO 2 days ago. I can't believe I never played this game back when it was subscription based like WOW and others. This game is way better then WOW in some ways. It's world makes WOW look like a kiddie land theme park. Stormreach City alone... HUGE. The dungeons put everything else out there to shame. I can't believe the other MMOs don't have dungeons like DDO does. Their FUN to play.

Yeah, some cinematics are from the game launch and some other release. I tried to blend 50/50 ingame as well as full cinematics, because its the game after all. :) but ingame content looks pretty decent with a high end computer.

I think DDO is going to finally get the recognition it deserves. It's a great game if you like PVE and grouping and action and quests that actually feel like quests.

Yep, the games cost a small amount, then you can play for free, or get vip that is really cheap. This MMo is awesome, no ganking, no 4hours walk to get somewhere, quest and more quests, DX10 graphics and more... Vive DDo :)

I believe that the music fit the video quite well. It was slow when it needed to be slow, and it picked up when the visuals needed the support. I think that too many are too quick to dismiss music because its contemporary/popular/mainstrea­m or whatever excuse is most widely accepted(oh the irony) at the time. I just started playing DDO a couple days ago, and so far I'm loving the atmosphere and heavy storytelling elements. Your video certainly added to my excitement.

Good animation, the music sucks tho, yet another "american feel" bullcrap.

Shame cause the 3D work and feel is very very good, problem is not the technical expertise or visual training, problem resides in the lack of auditive resources, maybe more listening to other type of music?...maybe more reading and less TV and movies?.

I have never played DDO but this really makes me want to try. I play P&P D&D and the only reason I didn't pick this up when it came out is because the game had such a rough start. I'm almost afraid to ask about the future of this game, as I have heard nothing about it recently.

Thank you very much, yep I love that game, as much as it been rough for every players, that game is greatly underrated by critics. Sadly, because its a well done game, unfortunatly they can handle a lot of player on a same server, therefor it havent kept people playing it, because of the rarety of the players on 1 server. With the merge into 5 huge servers, the game changed and it became more like we wanted. Its a huge game, with instances, not open world kind of a game, but still very fluid.

What makes that game, better quality then most out there, its that you wont encounter jackasses and jerks kids in game. Most player are mature and only want to remind the old days of paper D&d. So you get very nice people playing the game, and its hardcore for keyboard/quickbar action in combat, you wont be disapointed, get a 10 days, it worth a try. Dont be fooled by the low levels, the fun is there and all the way up to 20 ;)
