The reason being that it takes this long for one cycle above or below the galactic ecliptic. 12-21-2012 we will be aligned with the galactic center as we cross the ecliptic. Now, read what I wrote--I am not disbelieving you, but I notice the poise and rationality that you use to debunk the 2012 theories...why not try them out with your theory? Dig into the history of where the whole idea of Jesus coming back started and how it has changed over the years. Have fun with it. Even if you don't change your mind, doing these sorts of things helps strengthen the mind and keep one young. Kudos :3

Google Video the Rik Clay Redice interview and see what he discovered about 2012 and how this date will possibly be a significant date for the occult and the 2012 Olympics. He has stumbled across some information that may prove that the 2012 London Olympics may have been planned centuries ago. Well, Rik Clay is no longer among the living. He shortly "died" after he had an interview and revealed what he had found. Dead at 28 years of age. Tragic.
