I lived in Haifa for a couple of years. The plight of the cats is shocking. They are creatures of God and deserve to have a better life than they do here. It brings painful memories of the groups that I used to feed and try and keep healthy. My heart was anguished over their plight. I like the music you chose: to me it depicts their loneliness and need of care.

Shalom!! WOW!! Those cats are actualy mine and the movie is filmed just next to my home :) one of the cats (the white named Chacha)--no more alive....its so touching to watch them ....

The white cat felt left out when you skipped it for the grey one. Then was relieved when you came back to show it the camera. Then it became a little unsure and bossy black cat said, don't worry I'll take care of this and moves white cat over! White cat moves over but wasn't totally happy about this but you know, black cat always knows best! LOL Thats what I heard anyway. I loved the music and this video though!

brings back so many good memories. If i come across it, I'll post a funny video of a cat we found in a park I think somewhere in Jafa. to say the least, it was very grateful for somebody to press the button on this water fountain so it could have a drink.

I served in Haifa as a Janitor for a year. This video does an amazing job of capturing the sights of the city. It brings back so many memories. Thank you for posting it! It is beautiful!

Thanks for posting this video. I went on pilgrimage at the end of December 2007, and I was struck by the number of cats roaming the streets of Haifa and 'Akka. Did you happen to see a long-haired silver cat hanging around the PRC? I posted a video of this cat here -- search for "Pilgrim Kitty".
