Obviously I'm two months late, but your truss rod has nothing to do with string height, your truss rod has to do with string tension, if you are going to change the size of your strings without changing tunings then you should adjust your truss rod accordingly. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a dick, I would just hate to find out that somebody fucked up a perfectly good guitar by carelessly adjusting the truss rod, I might cry.
