First time when I heard Billy...I said to myself..what is all the talk of... that she is it..she is the one...she is one the greatest...I thought she was out of tune..out of sink with the band..and not swinging...how stupid of me...when finaly one day I realy heard her sing ..I said to myself ...you stupid AS# now you know that she was light years ahead..she was one the greatest instruments in jazz history. If I can only play my ax the way she sings...oh my...!!

I adore 2 female JAZZ singers, her and DINAH WASHNGTON!!!

Both had a hard life, one even saw her dad killing by rassicts and thats the reason why they sang soooooo great, not drugs like is told often.

I am mad for this version and of SINATRA'S, both differ a lot but both r unique, all other versions may be briliant but never ingenious like this one and of Frank......*****
