After meeting Jerry in person, I discovered that Joe was never a student of Jerry at all and that Jerry never taught Joe any Wu Chi Chuan. Joe was a hang around at Jerry's informal, indoor classes, cause they just happened to work near each other. I learned from Jerry that the terminology and principles are correct but it was not explained to me correctly, and I was not taught how to apply them correctly by Joe. Since I met Jerry, all that has been corrected. Thanks for comments guys.
@emcysquare - You are absolutely correct. Joe was not able to teach because he was illiterate for most of his life. I did not post these Wu Chi videos to teach anyone Wu Chi. My goal was to post these videos in hopes of finding Jerry (the teacher who originally taught Joe). One of Jerry's "real" students saw my video and contacted Jerry, Jerry contacted me, and now I am a student of Jerry. My 2nd reason for video post was to find anyone else who really knew Wu Chi to teach me as alternative
@GOG777 - The girl is my good friend Helena Ngoc Hong who is a popular singer in the Vietnamese community. We were suppose to hook up but things did not work out. I drew the picture in charcoal many years ago because of my romantic interest in her and my love for Wing Chun. You can do a search of her name on YouTube and see a bunch of her videos, interviews, and commercials.
@GOG777 - Thanks bro. You can check out more of my martial arts artwork at myspace com/studiotrendsetter Don't bother to add me as a friend cause I no longer use myspace.
Literally, tai chi or taiji means "ultimate ridgepole," ultimate as in supreme, highest, superlative, and pole as geographic pole or celestial pole. Figuratively, it means most extreme point, or point of maximum potential or something like that.
Wu chi or wuji literally means "without ridgepole," figuratively it means formless, infinite, boundless.
@TheoMurpse - The real Wu Chi Chuan system is NOT the same as "Wu Family Tai Chi Chuan". All the modern Tai Chi systems are an offshoot of Wu Chi Chuan. Wu Family simply means that particular style of Tai Chi was taught by the Wu Family, Chen style means it was taught by the Chen family and so on, but they all came from Wu Chi Chuan. I have studied the Tai Chi and Wu Chi that is how I can make this statement. If you have never studied authentic Wu Chi before you may not believe otherwise.

Did you ever think that Joe simply was not able to teach?
It takes FAR MORE than simply knowing one thing to be able to teach it.
A basic necessity for those that teach is being able to TRANSMIT the knowledge
If you can't do this, you nmight even be the best student, but that does not make you a master.
Then, if someone does not realize (in one year) that he is not makinf himself understood by others, makes him just dumb.
Sometime the real nature of the secret..is that there is no secret at all

Chuan, of course, means fist or boxing.

Wait, is "wu chi chuan" the same thing as "Wu family tai chi chuan"?
