Because I have HV20 and my focus shallowness is not that much, a lot more of the background is in focus for mine :(

I just used the manual focus for this. I am certain thatthe HV20 can get good DOF just like the HV30 and HV40.

Yes it had the same specs. Was it shot in 24p and did you do any tricks to get less depth of field and more of the background/foreground in focus? Like how you zoom in then use manual focus, or open the aperture to do that? Thanks mate great video

I never shoot in 24p. I use the zoom to create more DOF :)
