to julius parents, this is partly for julius partly for you.... kids will be mean and hateful, love them anyway, they dont understand because they dont want to. People will reject you and mock you, love them anyway. Im a 19 year's old and luckily had a mother who taught me how beautiful a mind can be trapped in a body that cant keep up. But remember that in many regards you will surpass people you encounter in their wisdom. I wish you luck....

So far, Julius has been very lucky to not care too much or even notice if people stare or mock (which hasn't happened much) or reject him. He will be 13 this coming June and so far, life has been pretty good. Right now we are homeschooling and I suppose that helps protects him from the meanness and ignorance of some peers.
