  • my speakears are blow

  • *Pat pat pat*

  • my 20$ ifrogz earbuds can pick up 5Hz

  • 3 people have no subwoofer

  • @jvgskai lol So True Or They Had A Shitty One And It Blew

  • Thanks man! This video allowed me to find the right gain and crossover frequency for my chair's bass shakers so that it would better match my subwoofer and other speakers. Audio just got fun again. :)

  • good job, at 0:52 ya made everything on my desk look like a mexican jumping bean

  • got every tone with the ibanez bass amp that came with my guitar!

  • haha i hit evey note with a sony 8 inch

  • Awesome. Heard the 5hz!

    Not awesome. Fried my Amplifier.

  • My sub Flexs like crazy 10-5hz

    !!!

  • i have headphones and there seems to be some crackle while the test goes on is it possible its the mp3 or whatever you uploaded? The headphones are Sony MDRV-6 and i wouldn't say they where crap?

  • My DD plays loud and strong down to 20 hz... I think my pre-amp unit is smoking though LOL

  • i nearly blow up my subwoofer!!!

  • Thanks to my logitech z-623, I get to pat myself on the back!!! :D

  • is it just my subs or does it get crackly when it gets down to the 10Hz and 5Hz range?

  • @Mikiko95 its probably just the recording.

  • my subs tend to like 65-50

  • Polk 10 is crap for testing extremely low bass. I mean... Honestly, a 10" woofer, isn't a sub. That starts at 15", unless it's a huge sealed box. Altec lansing is also cheap crap. THX is George Lucas charging you money for stamping his ass cheeks on something. The distortion starts at about 50 hz, though it's better on this test than some. It gets pretty bad below 30hz though. It's just microphone distortion, or poor encoding, after that. I'll challenge my D7000's against your polk 10.

  • i woke my parents :D

  • @soppiedekuthond i woke my neighbor

  • only issue is that this sweep has distortion. you can hear the sound creating little artifacts throughout the entire time. i'm still looking for a good clean sweep.

  • my headphones still played the hertz to 5

  • Wow, i heard all the hzes!

  • mine still aired a little at the end.

  • btw i have a logitech Z323

  • dammit i heard it until like 15 and when it came to then i couldnt feel air and i couldnt hear it but if i touched the dust cap it was baouncing hella slow x)

  • you have shit sub and amp if you can hear something under 15hz, under 15hz you feel it you cant hear anything, there should be total silence.

  • Yay good subs

  • Hello friend HowHighYouGo ... a very special favor ... could raise the tone of 75Hz. constant for 10 or 15 minutes I do to repair audio equipment ... I hurt my frequency generator and can not find another solution for calibration of equipment .... Thank you for your attention ...

  • i heard my 2.1 altec lansing sub all the way

  • My cheap asa sony mdr v150 go down to about 30 hz being played on a samsung infuse but they still block out loud systems at clubs

  • Studio Beats get every frequency :D

  • my beyerdynamic dt 990 pros do not like 5 hz... zwa zwa zwa zwa shaw

  • X500's hit every frequency, all though there designed to.

  • My jvc arsenal is sick I can hear it loud n clear at 15 Hz moves down to 1 hz

  • Made it to 5 with beats studios and It sounded like it could have went even lower

  • @JCphilly04 How do you hear 5 hz? Human hearing only goes to 20 hz.

  • @DylanK811 not even true. I heard all the way down to 5 hz. My subwoofer stayed the same volume throughout. z506 Logitech

  • @xxxPWN3Dxxx I guess I should say average. And I'm 99% confident that your subwoofer does not go to 5 hz. It's probably something like a 6.5" driver tuned to roughly 40hz.

  • @DylanK811 I can hear down to 13 hz if i try hard enough

  • @realflow100 Average human hearing is 20 to 20, but that isn't to say that there aren't exceptions. I'm not sure what I can hear personally.

  • @DylanK811 actually i can hear it...you might need to see a hearing doctor or buy a better speaker or better headphones

  • @JCphilly04 No, I don't need a hearing doctor. I don't actually no how low I can hear personally. I should have stated that average human hearing is 20 to 20, not all. But I'm still pretty sure you can only feel 5 hz. I'd like to know what you listened to 5 hz on, too. That's insanely low. And I definitely do not need better headphones, or audio system.

  • i have a 15 inch t3 tsns on 2500 watts in my room its pretty crazy

  • holy shit, my sennheiser headphones went all the way down to 5hz, and the bass from 25 - 45hz on these headphones are crazy, but i am also running off a mixer board with a very powerful headphone preout :P

  • Skullscandy Skullcrushers went to 5hz. Swag.

  • my headphones goes down to 15 HZ :)

  • How can I know if my headphones are good ? Unless I put max sound, the sounds I can hear are down to 40Hz

  • @InuYashaMart that isn't good your using cheap headphones I suggest klipsch headphonez

  • @wellivea1 I thought my 100$ Sennheiser were expensive enough as they are...

  • @InuYashaMart i think its the brand not the price

  • @Xxthekiller31xX bass*

  • My polk audio floor standing speaker with 3 8" it hit on every one, it looked funny at 5hz!

  • this makes me feel ill inside

  • Crossfades :D

  • hits every note?

it´s about feeling it not hearing it :DD

  • Rolloff started at 25Hz and it became hard to listen to below 20Hz, which is technically our limit, the rest is bass you "feel" rather than hear. Still, increasing volume a bit and it was still clear that it reached 5Hz.

P.S. If you have Bose, Buy Other Sound Equipment (old but gold)

P.S.S. If you think Beats are Hi Fi, see above.

  • i got this cheap-ass subwoofer that works like a boss, i was able to hear it all! best 28$ ever spent! and its excursion is epic!

  • Fuck!!!! My headphones when all the way to 5

  • I got this tiny 8" from a home theater setup that had it's electricals broken so I hooked it up to a baby 4-channel 30w (each) amp and this little guy hits EVERY note.

    5hertz is like a massage.

  • thumbs up if you're listening this with your monitors integrated speakers ;D

  • blew my speaker at 85 hrz

  • My head phones went to 20hz

  • Headphones down to 15Hz

  • Go beats

  • Boes ime2i you can hear every thing and the headphones stars shaking on 50hz!

  • at 75 hz i cant listen nothing

  • I could hear everything right to the end. I had it plugged in extension from computer headjack directly into my stereo system amplifier and through the Acoustic Profiles PSL-8.6 speakers.

  • @Steph6n you stated that you could hear even 15hz sound? Congratulations! You might be the only one.

  • @craneywatch haha! well, thankyou! do I win a prize? lol

yes, my speakers are for a standard home theater; they're full size and can adequately shake the floor if I'm not careful (to the chagrin of my neighbors) and so they can handle pretty much any base I pump through them. Rather than buying a sub-woofer for the computer I simply use them... via the amp component of course

  • my subwoofer survived all the hertz and it is a small subwoofer with just 1/3 of the volume and still blowing air ...

  • @PelicoJR you have great subwoofer!

  • @craneywatch thnx!

  • just as you said "cheap sub" I was starting to hear some distortion, good call on lowering the volume alert - thanks ^_^ was at about 40% with 100% bass, ran at -32dB 90 hz haha

  • Solo x 12 w/ 1500.1 zx amp 250amp alt

Def felt air the whole time like a boss

  • After 40 Hz my headphones sounds like they have explosive diarrhea.

  • ummmm i think my eardrums exploded. skullcandy skullcrushers ftmfw!

  • Sony MDR-XB300 volume started to flutter at 35hz and volume dropped at 25hz

  • Soon as it it Hz it went from Loud to like half volume and then quieter and quieter from there lol. Logitech 5.1

  • wearing some earbuds and couldn't hear shit after 30Hz besides a faint crackling noise lol. Going to have to try this tomorrow with my sub

  • logitec speakers work very well could hear it fckn 5hz bro holy shit

  • @123jjfresh all you heard was probably just air flow nothing else trust me bro

  • @ihaterabbits127 Thats normal.- Everything under 15hz is unhearable! If you hear something at 5 hz your speakers are getting destroyed. It's nothing else :)

  • I hate when people use comments as a proxy to brag about their stuff, eg: OMG TEH BAZE WAZ SO LOUD ON MY (insert brand name here)'S.

  • My x-mini 1.1v went to 15hz

  • My headphones went to 40:(

  • my speakers went mad! I started smell...

  • Comment removed

  • You can't hear frequency under 20 Hz. This test isn't accurate

  • @polobilenmin thats true its about 22hz to 22khz for nearly everyone, what your hearing below that is probably distortion as this was only uploaded in 480p

  • Earphones cut out at 15 >.<

  • anyone got a peak bass lower than me? 60hertz rattles my eyeballs

  • you cant hear lower than 20hz hence why most studio headphones have a range of 18-22,000hz you should feel it though

  • skull crushers like 90-100

  • mine went down to exactly 20...

  • Cool! My Sennheiser CX 400 II went all the way.

  • My JVC Flats went to 10!

  • fake fake fake its not 5 hz... humans just can hear 18hz+ total fake !

  • Sry man but this is just best way how to FRY your SUBWOOFER. Most professional sound processors and crossovers even have 25hz filter, so frequencies below 25HZ are damped (3dB/hz)... Most SUBs are tuned to 40(+-) hz and lover frequencies can cause its coil to go way over limit, (push it too outwards or too inside) and moment coil gous out of magnetic flux, it can damage itself (smash itself into the back of magnetic gap...) So going below 25hz is RISKY and can permanently DAMAGE your SUB.

  • doesnt help if you have a fucking 3,000 hz in the background

  • Man, I love your videos... How did you make it look so good?

  • 5 hz on speakers are awsome

  • My klipsch THX speakers make my ears bleed at 5hz X0

  • I got down to 15hz. on my 8" tuned to 30hz.

And my 2 5,25" got down to 35hz, and they are tuned to 98hz... And my head still hurt. (Shity speakers can be loud, its all about the box)

  • Wow, what a Power, now i understand why volume turned back ;D, This is great and now i know that my Sub 10" has the complete Spektrum. Thanks for the test!!!

  • if you can hear below 20Hz, there's a problem with your sub or audio, because you can't hear 20Hz...therefore its reproduction is inaccurate

  • My range is somewhere between 1-19,000 Hz. Is that good?

  • Skull Candy Buds FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!! 20$ life waranty :D

  • got down to 5h. yaaaayz!

  • My PA 12" 300WRMS 1200watts peak @4ohms Subwoofer got to 5hz I'm running it off of a 2000watt 4 channel 500watt per channel Power Amplifier so it got extremely loud but the thing is I live in a 1 room hotel room that is now for rent and I have somebody living ether side of me so I tried it for a second but only 10 percent of the way up and it was loud. if I turned everything all the way up it would without a doubt blow out my windows my sub and amp are beasts my subwoofer weighs over 25kgs

  • Hehe. £12 Technika (Tesco) 2.1 Sub got all the way to 10Hz. Could still hear slight rumblings 'til the end. No popping or cracking until the noise stopped.

  • Dropped off noticeably below 50 hz, but the little bugger hung in there!

  • Well, I heard all. Is it bad or good?

  • @Ubojica6661 i heard all too .... ?!

  • @Ubojica6661 if it sounded like bass then good

  • @Ubojica6661 You did not, humans can only hear down to 20 hz

  • @foxzity But, I realy did. I think this test is broken, because I usualy cannot hear high frequency, I heard all here.

  • my favorite is 65hz!

  • 30 is orgasmic

  • my sub is a beast

  • You can't hear bass as low as 15 hz because the human range is 20 hz to 20000 hz and that is the best hearing possible. Yes you can feel air and if you do that is a good sub, but you won't hear anything.

  • all my volume buttons are at 100% and i could even crack them open even more (A)

  • i can hear 15 to just with my headsets and it's still great at 10 it's just a big crack i hear the hole time.
