People please stuart can't act! I think that the two Lestats are really different - I mean Lestat from Iwtv is powerful and the other one reminds me of Luis. Tom Cruise is the better Lestat! and I wish that there wasn't qotd, because it's so stupid! Tom is the Best! <3
Well done. I love when people make AMV's and the scenes and everything is well matched to the rhythm and changes in the song. Also the song is fitting.
loved IWTV hated QOTD the queen interpretation was real bad srry but even laughable at times, stuart was good in his own portrait but that is not the lestat of the books, and even tom may be a nutcase atm he did justice to the character.
I think Aaliyah was amazing in the film, and Stuart was great too... I think the script was the let down. To be honest, I said it on another video too... unfortunatley I can't get that "TOM CRUISE SCIENTOLOGIST" video out of my head, so everytime I see one of his films I think of that video and it ruins it for me.
i really didnt like queen of the damned and i feel that Stuart didnt do a good job at playing lestat. he lack the suave, charm, and terror that tom cruise had in the first film. i think its obvious that Stuart didn't do his homework when he took the role. don't get me wrong i really like Stuart but when he had the opportunity to become a big star he fuck it up for himself when he got fired on the lord of the rings trilogy, he's had chance after chance but now i just gave up on the guy.
Hmmm...ok here's my take on the better Lestat question. I think Tom's performance fit very well with the way the character is in The first book in particular, but Stuart makes the whole vampire concept look damn good. HIs portrail always gives me chills and i just can't stop staring at him. Sometimes I feel like smaking Tom up side the head. BUt that's make opinion. Fell free to argue with me.
Akasha (Aaliyah) was beautiful but not so profund as in the book (in the film she had a very physical and sexy part only). Lena Olin (Maharet) and Vincent Perez (Marius) were good to, but it's a pity that their characters were not so developped as in the book... this film was more based on action. Interview... was more into beauty and psychology...
Tom was more... cruel and philosophical, and Stuart more "punk" and sexy.
Well, I won't lie to you : I was indeed disappointed by Queen of The Damned (I don't understand how they did such an action film out of a great profund book...) but Suart is really the image I have from Lestat : sexy, attractive, you really feel that he's a "true" vampire when you see his eyes... it's weird.
its hard for me to get over the question. Who plays a better Lestat? The two manifestations are completely different yet that both represent Lestat. I think both are worthy? What do you all think?
queen of the damned is better.

Yes I agree with you but I like this films although they don't imitate books. Sorry if I make mistakes but I don't write in English very well.

Queen of the damned is the worst vampire movie ever done, Tom cruise is by far better than Stuart Townsend.
JZKV 5 years ago
I still think that Stuart Townsend was a much better, Lestat. Although, perhaps, I fancied Queen of the damned more than Interview with a vampire.

Seriously you think so? I thought Queen of the damn was really horrible. Interview with the vampire was much better and deeper.
